Text of Obi-Wan's Message[]

In A New Dawn, the text of Obi-Wan's message is given as:

This is Obi-Wan Kenobi. Republic forces have been turned against the Jedi. Avoid Coruscant. Avoid detection! Stay strong; may the force be with you.

This differs from the message in Star Wars Rebels/Star Wars Kanan 2:

This is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic have fallen. With the dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is a warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi: Trust in the force! Do not return to the temple. That time has passed, and our future is uncertain. We will each be challenged: our trust, our faith, our friendships, but we must persevere, but in time a new hope will emerge. May the force be with you, always.

In the new world of Canon, is this disagreement considered multiple messages, sent at multiple times? Or if it is the same message, which is real: the expedient one, or the motivational one?Anthingy (talk) 21:20, August 1, 2015 (UTC)

I found the answer. The short form is the text that was sent with the voice message, which was the longer message.Anthingy (talk) 21:22, August 4, 2015 (UTC)
