Was she actually in ROTS, or just the book? Kuralyov 03:28, 30 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I don't remember her in either. TopAce - 13:46, (GMT +1)
- She was in the game. QuentinGeorge 11:51, 5 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- The game is her only post-AotC appearance - Kwenn
Nitpick!
Edit
OK, if Jocasta served as Director about 30 before AOTC (acc. to SW OWS Satabank), she Must have already been Archives Director in 52 BBY, prior to Tahl's death in 41 BBY. So I don't believe we can keep the part about her only taking the job when Tahl died. Tahl must have held an assistant position (or something like that) to Jocasta during the Jedi Apprentice books. P.S. Jocasta's murder in the ROTS game really made me hate Anakin. I wish she had been a boss villain and surprised us with some neat fighint skills (she WAS a Council member)--maybeForce fling archive records! JustinGann 21:57, 16 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Peace, Senator, there is no emotion. But I can understand you're frustration with the Databank. They still haven't updated the EU sections since Destiny's Way. -- SFH 22:09, 16 Oct 2005 (UTC)
She was in the video game but the video game made some mistakes so how do u kno thats how she died!
- Seeing as it's the only account we have of her death, we're taking it to be the official version of events - Kwenn
For appearances she was in at least one of the Jedi Quest books.
- Hmmm, yes, you're right about the Tahl and Jocasta Nu thing! But as we all know, Jude Watson doesn't do her research! :-P --Crazy Jedi Girl 22:00, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Jocasta's Ep. 3 Cameo
Edit
Jocasta is in Ep.3!! You can see her in the security hologram Obi-Wan accesses!! ColdFusion900
That would be Bene, Cin Dralllig and Whie.
Statue
Edit
Is there a statue of Ms. Nu in ep3? I saw it in the ep3 visual dictionary, I'm fairly sure it was her. -- Doo Doo 06:23, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Death Pic
Edit
Can someone get a pic of her either dead or her death from the video game? Purpilia 23:17, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Issue with Jocastas Death
Edit
I remember reading somewere in one of the Jedi Apprentice books that she died sometime during Anakins Training by Obi-Wan? i think it was sometime in the gap of "the followers" Valin "Tnu" "Shido" Suul 16:03, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Terrorists
Edit
The Ansata were also a terrorist group in a Star Trek TNG Episode entitled "The High Ground"
Time?
Edit
Okay, the article says that in 52 BBY she stepped down from her Jedi High Council position after having served for more than ten years. Does "more than ten years" mean that we know it was close to ten years, or does it mean we don't know how long it was, except that it was for more than ten years? ...Sorry, I'm not very good at getting what I'm trying to say into comprehensible words. --Crazy Jedi Girl 08:16, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- It's directly from the OS databank which states only:
Jocasta Nu served as Archives Director for over 30 years, attending the position after a decade-long term on the Jedi Council.
- Presumably the "over thirty years" refers to a 52 BBY - 19 BBY stint, and that she served on the council from 62 - 52 BBY. QuentinGeorge 12:00, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

- Oh, hello! You seem to be answering a lot of my questions. Many thanks! I, um, should really start checking that site more often, shouldn't I? *looks sheepish* Okay, so if it's a decade-long term, shouldn't we just put in the article that she served for ten years, instead of "more than ten years"? If the official databank says it that explicitly? --Crazy Jedi Girl 21:58, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Or people could not reply; that works too. In which source does it say that she stepped down in 52 BBY? --Crazy Jedi Girl 18:45, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Lightsaber
Edit
- Judging from the Revenge of the Sith video game, Jocasta Nu's lightsaber emitted a blue colored blade not a yellow one, which this article claims. What is the source of the yellow blade? While the game version of Ep.III may not be canon to the film, I propose that if no other source shows Jocasta Nu with her lightsaber ignited, then it be used as a source for this issue. Maphisto86 17:48, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- I removed it. Even if it's not fanon, it doesn't need to be in the article introduction. -- I need a name (Complain here) 18:02, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- While I can't for the life of me remember where, I seem to remember reading that she was one of the few Jedi Sentinels left in the Order, which is why she maintained the Archives (there was some Dark Side lore in there). If she was a Sentinel, she would have (traditionally) a yellow blade. Perhaps it was in the Sentinel article? Operations.kt 02:04, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Part II: this link; http://www.eeggs.com/items/46039.html seems to suggest that she may have been in a very quick scene with a yellow lightsaber, but sources disagree. Operations.kt 02:11, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- To add to the confusion, the Jedi Consular page lists her as a Consular (which traditionally used Green). Operations.kt 02:55, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

The Clone Wars
Edit
On this Site is a picture in The Clone Wars stile http://www.starwars.com/fans/media/womenofsw/index.html?page=3
- there is a chance, however, that those pictures aren't of Nu herself, but rather Cato Parasitti, whom I am to understand is impersonating her. The Doctor K.(No I'm not really a doctor.) 19:09, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
- No, it is confirmed that Nu appears in The Holocron Hesit. Her databank entry was updated yesterday, and new stills of her were added. The preview of the episode on StarWars.com also showed her. JangFett Talk 19:12, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not disputing that. Its simply that some of the pictures may be of the Clawdite in "Nu-form," as opposed to Nu herself. The Doctor K.(No I'm not really a doctor.) 19:17, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, yes. If you have read The Holocron Heist, that explains the episode and shows the Clawdite impersonate Nu. The newly released stills of her with Ahsoka is most likely her, due to the stills being in her databank entry. The impersonator shows up when Bane enters the Temple and uses the Clawdite as a diversion. JangFett Talk 19:31, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

- Now that we're sure that the image is not of Nu, will there be any objections if I remove it? The Doctor K.(No I'm not really a doctor.) 01:32, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
- It's gone. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 01:35, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
Birth during the Golden Age of the Republic?
Edit
It says that she was brought into the order during the golden age of the republic which ended in 312 BBY. This means that she would be 300+ years old by the time of her death. —Unsigned comment by 76.226.94.50 (talk • contribs).
- Fixed! Thanks you for pointing it out! Purpilia 20:50, December 19, 2010 (UTC)
