Why the hell does Threepio call the Empire the Trade Federation? Did the author know anything about Star Wars? .... 02:29, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Well you could argue it two ways. one you could say that the Trade Federation was working for the empire and as they built droids, the empire assumed they could handle the task of putting a tracker (or whatever it was) inside a droid. Or you could suggest that C-3PO's sensors were on the fritz and he thought he saw the trade federation...

Despite that, it was definitely a mistake not a thought up idea sucha s either of those "excuses"
