[edit] Kyber Crystal

  • Doesn't this sound kind of like SuperShadow's Kyber Crystal, which could enhance Force powers? Kir Kanos (Hail the Empire!) 13:49, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
    • They're both based off the original drafts of the A New Hope script, but the true Kaiburr crystal was in material as early back as 1978, so is not based on SuperShadow's in any way. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 13:53, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] KOTOR2

  • Where did Kaiburr crystal apear in Kotor?
    • You can acquire a Kaiburr crystal shard to be used in your lightsaber, though I think the location it appears in is rather random. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 16:52, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Enhance powers/midi chlorians

  • Just curious, since Episode I mentioning that midi-chlorian is somewhat related to the Force, and like the Kaiburr crystal's article said enhancing Force power and healing, does this mean that the Kaiburr crystal strengthen the midi-chlorians at the same time? Also a daring hypothsis, if the Kaiburr crystal can influence the midi-chlorian count possible making a low midi-chlorian person's count higher, would that cause them to be powerful Force-sensitive individuals?

[edit] Kaiburr crystal (sources?)

  • I don't recall it ever being said that the Kaiburr crystal amplified a person's power a thousand-fold before, either in the comic or the novel. And while it's said in the Databank that the crystal's power decreases in direct proportion to its distance from the temple, I don't recall hearing that anywhere either. Are there sources\explanations for these? Unsigned comment by Sayo (talk • contribs).
    • I'm not quite sure about the first, but as for the second, the Databank is a source—some of our articles are composed completely or almost entirely of material from it. Hobbes15(Tiger Headquarters) 04:46, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tempest appearance

I'm pretty sure that the crystal makes an appearance in Tempest, which no one seems to have noticed. When Luke fights against Lumiya, it says something like bits of Kaiburr Crystal shattered accross the bar (these aren't the exact words, but if you read it carefully, you'll see what I mean) --Tom rules 08:56, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Would you happen to have a page number? JorrelFraajic 10:32, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
    • Scratch that, I found it. And, I'm not sure I can use anything from it. It's pretty much a one-off mention. JorrelFraajic 10:48, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] TFU Xbox vs Wii

From what I have read here on the wiki, the Xbox 360/PS3 versions of the Force unleashed are canon. Doesn't this mean that Galen Marek would not aquire a shard of Kaiburr crystal, seeing as how it only appears in the Wii/PS2 versions of the game?--LastJedi1515 22:58, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

  • The events from PS2 version are considered canon as well, unless they contradict the main story. MauserComlink 05:12, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
