While she is named clearly Kaydel Ko in the Visual Dictionary, the Movie's own listing at the end has the actress listed as playing a "Lt. Connix". If there is any error involved or merely she is Lt. Kaydel Ko Connix remains to be seen I guess. Another smiliar case is Jessika Pava, named such in a Journey to the Force Awakens book. The Visual dictionary and the credits of the movie name her Jess instead of Jessika and give her a new last name of Jess Testor, that, as per new starwars.com databank actually is a middle or nickname of Jess "Testor" Pava, or rather Jessika "Testor" Pava. The same may apply for Kaydel Ko alias Billie Lourde here with Lt. Connix being her official last name and rank, and Kaydel Ko her first and middle name. But official confirmation of that is not out yet. 77.178.137.253 20:40, December 22, 2015 (UTC)StefanPfister77.178.137.253 20:40, December 22, 2015 (UTC)

  • The best thing to do here is for someone to tweet Pablo Hidalgo about the inconsistency and hope that he answers. Ayrehead02 (talk) 13:10, December 23, 2015 (UTC)
    • I've sent the tweet, so hopefully we'll know soon. Ayrehead02 (talk) 13:28, December 23, 2015 (UTC)
      • In any case, the statement that she was not named in the film is incorrect, regardless.Darkdreamz (talk) 17:56, December 29, 2015 (UTC)

Do we know? Edit

Do we KNOW that she's gonna appear in Episode VIII? What f she gets cut like Constable Zuvio? Shouldn't we wait until the movie is actually out? The Ultimate Dude (talk) 22:07, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

  • Fair question, but you could make that argument for any character. Until then, we go with the assumption that they'll be in it. If they're cut, a "deleted scene" tag will be put next to their appearance. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 22:12, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

Kaydel Connix in text Edit

The TLJ Visual Dictionary uses Kaydel Connix as a previously unseen short form, suggesting that Kaydel Ko Connix is more like George Walton Lucas. That is why I made the change (now reverted) to Kaydel Connix in the main body, leaving the longer form in the title, the infobox and the introduction. I think it’s important because the short form matches canon text; readers and tie-in writers who previously used only her full name should be clearly informed of the style which is appropriate for repeated use. —-PreviouslyOn24 (talk) 06:10, December 24, 2017 (UTC)

  • That's a guessing from your part, she's been called and identified as Kaydel Ko Connix I don't think we should go for it unless is clearly seen and used as only Kaydel Connix in more media since Topps, The Visual Encyclopedia, TFA Visual dictionary and databank use the full name. See for example Galen Walton Erso--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 06:16, December 24, 2017 (UTC)

I’m not saying that the full name is wrong, only that yes, it’s more like Galen Walton Erso. There are eleven matches for Galen Erso on that page, so there should be many more for Kaydel Connix here. We didn’t know that before, but now we do, so the main body should reflect the new usage. —-PreviouslyOn24 (talk) 07:10, December 24, 2017 (UTC)

  • What I'm saying is that the beginning for each section on Galen uses the full name(Biography, Personality and BTS), same happens here we don't need to just identify her as Kaydel Connix.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:16, December 24, 2017 (UTC)
