Talk:Kybuck
Back to page
Is there any evidence that kybucks are genetically similar to tauntauns? I don't see any, other than the fact that they are bipedal steeds, and the kybuck in Clone Wars sounds a bit like a tauntaun. Unless there is a canonical source that says so, I think their relation is only conjecture and should be removed from the article. Sceva 06:17, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- No way. Their voice is exactly the same. It doesn't matter if the Clone Wars people took tauntaun recordings or not, it is canon. If a new species of monkey was discovered to talk the same as us, we would be genetically similiar (we already are genetically similiar to most monkeys; that was an example)--Darthtyler (talk) (HSM RKY) 06:20, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- The show's creators specifically state in the DVD commentary that they are genetically similar. Adamwankenobi 06:25, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- I added a citation incase of future confusion.--Darthtyler (talk) (HSM RKY) 06:36, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- to clerify being gentically similar has nothing to do with speech just because something can talk like us doesnt mean its got the same dna think parrot.
