So i took a screenshot of the Kyle Katarn set that is availible in the shop in The Clone Wars Adventures. Feel free to use it since i am still unable to upload images to the wiki. :)

The article said that Kyle gave up his force powers after Kyp's fall to the dark side. If so, Then how can he have possibly participated in the battle for Yavin 4? Furthermore, Daala's attack on the Praxeum happened before Desann's assault, not after. I did my best to fix it, but I am not sure if it makes sense. Please fix the problems with my corrections and sort out the continuity issues. Thanks. (Toolen 05:21, February 21, 2011 (UTC))
Update: I think I fixed it. While THe New Essential Chronology states that he did participate in the battle, it doesn't say he used the force. In fact, it says he gave up using the force before the battle. That's one less problem to deal with. (Toolen 06:09, February 21, 2011 (UTC))
In the Jedi Outcast game, Kyle Katarn was more of a Jedi outcast than a Jedi Knight, hence the name Jedi Outcast. However, by the time Kyle began his chase for Desann below the Jedi Temple, Kyle Katarn, having regained all his Force powers, was a full-fledged Jedi Knight. At the end of the game, Kyle Katarn becomes a Jedi Master; however, it is only mentioned in The New Essential Chronology. Hope that helps! Obi-Wan Kenobody(Cone of Silence) 20:39, July 28, 2012 (UTC)
In the very first sentence of the article, "Kyle Katarn was a famous human Jedi", the "human" should be capitalized to "Human". However, the page appears to be locked, so I am unable to make the change myself. Thanks Savage1138 13:55, April 2, 2012 (UTC)
In 10 ABY, during the game Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith, Kyle Katarn was a Jedi Master who trained former Imperial Hand Mara Jade in the ways of the Force. Was Kyle Katarn still a Jedi Master until end of the Exar Kun incident in 11 ABY? --Dawth Mawl (talk) 23:52, October 4, 2012 (UTC)
He wasn't a master at all during that time frame. He was just a Jedi. He and Mara were mutually apprenticed to each other. jSarek (talk)
Why didn't Darth Vader sense that Kyle Katarn was aboard his flagship The Executor, yet later admitted that "the Force is strong with Katarn"? I find that quite puzzling. --Dawth Mawl (talk) 19:46, October 17, 2012 (UTC)
This page is for discussing changes to the article, not asking questions about the article subject. I doubt highly there's a canonical answer to your question, as that was a plot convenience, so I suggest you take it somewhere like the Jedi Council Forums for fan theories.
