How destructive is the SFS L-s9.3 Laser Cannons? Edit

There is nothing really that says that the SFS L-s9.3 Laser Cannons are powerful enough to destroy asteroids in a single shot, I made that assumption from these facts. Two Laser beams was enough to disintegrate a A-Wing fighter from behind, how much shielding it had is unknown, the pilot did seam cocky before he died though so couldn't have been that bad off.

Scythe squadron had Tie fighters that had there Laser cannon enhanced to destroy asteroids. They with the SFS L-s9.3 Laser Cannons have similar rules (hit targets are conceder lost) so I assumed that the were both just as powerful. Interestingly The cannons on the Scythe Ties though were upgraded to destroy asteroids takes two chainlinked bursts to destroy a X-Wing fighter leaving chunks of that fighter floating around, that would indicate that the SFS L-s9.3 Laser Cannons are even more powerful one volley from a twolinked burst disintegrated an A-Wing though it was a distant shoot there could have been debris It would be impossible to see it.

It had a slightly slower rate of fire, maybe because of the charge rate of the cannon.

In StarWars X-Wing Rogue Squadron In The Empires Service comic a volley of three Laser bolts was enough to destroy Janson X-Wing causing complete system failure, one Laser was strong enough to blast threw the cockpit section of the Y-Wing right threw the armored plating threw the Heavy-duty long-range laser cannons mid section and part of the coolant pump and blowing out the other side of the armored plating. One Laser bolt from Baron Fel Tie Interceptor was enough to tear the wing engine from Colonel Salm Y-Wing. That Laser Beam would have had to go threw near sold chunks of metal, coolant pips, the wing repulsers, the main power cell for it and, out the other side. Four to eight Laser bolts was enough to significantly drain Wedge Antilles shields, he said after the two bursts and I quote (here he comes again shields will hold for a bit, but I need to surprise him.) I should note that the attack caused shield scatter, Wedge could not see the Baron, the scatter may have also cause his scopes to go out during the duration of the scatter.

If IM wrong with me assumption with the SFS L-s9.3 Laser Cannons being able to take out small asteroids in a single shoot than I think that that data should be deleted. (((bk777)))

Weird SentenceEdit

“More destructive than the new but more common SFS L-s7.2 laser cannon, it had the power to destroy small asteroids in one shot.” This sentence doesn’t make sense; It should be “More destructive than the newer and more common SFS L-s7.2 laser cannon, it had the power to destroy small asteroids in one shot.” or “More destructive than the older but more common SFS L-s7.2 laser cannon, it had the power to destroy small asteroids in one shot.” ¿Could someone please clear this up?174.25.34.44 04:45, June 3, 2010 (UTC)A REDDSON
