Talk:Lancer-class frigate
Back to page
I have just added a screenshot of a Lance Frigate from the Homeworld 2-Mod Warlords. Many Star Wars ships have been modelled for this Mod and many more can be seen in Games like X-Wing Alliance. If you like this edit, I can add more Starship-pictures like this.
- The images can't hurt, but in the end, the articles would be better served by images that came from official sources. X-Wing Alliance, or any other video/computer game would be a good source. --SparqMan 17:43, 23 May 2005 (UTC)
- Since there´s a precedent for this (refr. the Banking Clan Frigate, which had fanart to represent it´s Wikipedia entry), I´d say it can be used, if the artist stayed true to both description and any images of the vessel in question. And labeling the image "fanart". :) VT-16 14:02, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- It's already been replaced by a canon image from the WOTC CCG. --SparqMan 14:36, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Move?
Edit
Move to Lancer-class frigate? Cmdr. J. Nebulax 13:57, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- Can you put italics in a title? — Silly Dan 14:03, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I just meant to move it to "Lancer-class frigate". I sort-of get carried away with that stuff. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 14:06, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- My fault -- didn't notice the capitalization. 8) — Silly Dan 14:49, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- No problem. So, can it be moved? Cmdr. J. Nebulax 17:57, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Major issue
Edit
In Coruscant Nights I: Jedi Twilight, a Lancer-class frigate is described as taking off from a spaceport on Coruscant. According to the information in the article, it wouldn't be until years later that the frigate was developed. Is there any possible way of rectifying this? I'll have to find the exact page number. - I'd call it a "Lanceresque" Tartan-class personally, but they don't pay me to write this stuff. I would agree that moving the date back to 19 BBY is unacceptable though. - Brynn Alastayr 00:16, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
