Who is Muk Muk Monkey?[]

Based on the sources provided in this article, I'm not sure whether this article is justified in the assumptions it's making. First of all, the only reference I can find to an individual named "Muk Muk Monkey" is the episode guide to "Lightsaber Lost", where we are told that Jaime King voiced the character. However, nowhere in this episode guide does it specify who Muk Muk Monkey is. How do we know that this is the name of the Kowakian monkey-lizard and not some other random character in the slums?

Second of all, if we do make the assumption that Muk Muk Monkey is the monkey-lizard, how do we know that this individual is a female, as the article asserts? Perhaps there is a source that isn't listed in the article that reveals these two facts (that Muk Muk Monkey is the monkey-lizard and that the monkey-lizard is female), but as it stands now, the article seems to be jumping to conclusions. ~ SavageBob 16:51, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • The first because he/she/it is the only Kowakian in the episode and definitely the only one that speaks. I have no idea how the second issue came into play, but yes, that's an assumption, not a fact. CC7567 (talk) 17:18, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
    • I guess the first question, then, becomes, "Why is the name "Muk Muk Monkey" the Kowakian's name and not some other random character's?" ~ SavageBob 16:39, March 19, 2010 (UTC)
      • Because King alluded to her role as a Kowakian in an article on SW.com. Since she isn't credited with anything else in the episode besides Cryar, I'm quite sure it's safe to assume that the monkey is named that. CC7567 (talk) 20:17, March 19, 2010 (UTC)
        • May I remind you that Muk Muk Monkey is also on the credits of 'Bounty Hunters'. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a name of a Kowakian or simply another name used by the CW crew for the Kowakian ML species. I really hope it's the first option. --Sompeetalay 09:59, March 31, 2010 (UTC)
          • Sompeetalay is right. See here. "Muk Muk monkey" seems to be what the Clone Wars people have decided to call Kowakian monkey-lizards, not the name of a particular individual (unless the one we saw in Lightsaber Lost and the one we see in The Bounty Hunters are supposed to be the same individual). ~ SavageBob 21:13, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
            • It is indeed looking like TCW team thinks the Kowakian Monkey-Lizard species is actually called Muk Muk Monkey. Otherwise, Muk Muk could just be a very common kowakian name, like so many "Polly the Parrot"s we see around. Gry Sarth 14:16, April 9, 2010 (UTC)
