Lightside or DarkEdit

Having read a fair number of articles about KOTOR, I have noted that none detal what happens if Revan specifically falls to the dark side or goes to the light side. Therefore, the conclusion of this article as such:

"The second time, after his redemption, Revan disabled the disruptor field to allow the Republic fleet and his own ship, the Ebon Hawk, to breach the factory's defenses. The Temple of the Ancients. When the Star Forge was finally destroyed in a fierce battle between the Republic and the Sith, the Republic commanders—Admiral Forn Dodonna and Jedi Master Vandar Tokare—celebrated the end of the Jedi Civil War at the Temple exterior. During the ceremony, Revan and his companions were each awarded with a Cross of Glory. "

Is subjective and erroneous. For example, the Star Forge article detals two outcomes: "It was destroyed at the end of the Jedi Civil War, 3,956 years BBY, by a Republic fleet bolstered by the Battle Meditation of Bastila Shan. An alternate reality is that the Star Forge was not destroyed. But was used by the Sith Lord Revan to build an "infinite" fleet of ships and an army of droids to conqueror the Republic."

Does this make sense? I'm not going to edit the article until we have some consensus here. (Unsigned comment by User:161.184.147.3)

  • Though the game has more than one possible ending, the "real" story for continuity purposes is that Revan went back to the Light side. The Dark Side ending could be added in a "Behind the scenes" section, though. — Silly Dan 22:19, 17 Aug 2005 (UTC)
    • I would have, but the alternate ending (where dark Bastila tells Sith soldiers to hail Revan) didn't seem to occur in the Unknown World. If it did, I will add this to the BTS section. - Sikon 01:25, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)
      • Good point: kind of looked like Korriban to me, though the shot of Revan's armada was in the "Unknown system". — Silly Dan 01:27, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)

It's on Rakata Prime. It looks like the top of the temple where you first meet the Sith Bastilla.Go to the top of the temple and you will see that it is the place the Dark Side ending takes place. Malak 15:30, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Rakata Prime Edit

Per the New Essential Chronology, can a an admin please move this to Rakata Prime? Kuralyov 00:57, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • Definately. I will do so now. QuentinGeorge 06:46, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Why is it said throughout the wiki that Rakata Prime/Unknown World was in the Unknown Regions? Does the Chronology clarify this? - Sikon [Talk] 09:59, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • There's a map in the back that places it there. QuentinGeorge 10:03, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)

why does this article say the unknown world aka rakata prime was joined into the republic after the revan affairs? the republic had NO holdings in the Unknown regions up to the NJo era. so how can this be? wrong article!

Well actully it isn't in unknown space any more because it has been discoved by the Republic and Jedi. Malak 18:19, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Map Edit

Since the New Essential Chronology says that Rakata Prime is in the Unknown Regions and shows it there, why is the planet close to Korriban on the computer aboard the Ebon Hawk?

  • The Galaxy Map is way off, considering it's size. Don't pay any attention to that map for Wookieepedia purposes. --Redemption 22:46, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
    • Yes, maps from both KOTORs are not canonical and have many errors. For example, the KOTOR II map places Telos and Dantooine in opposite regions of the galaxy, while in fact they are much closer. Not to mention Yavin. - Sikon [Talk] 07:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

The Republic? Edit

I want to see a source that states that Rakata Prime joined the Republic. The idea of a barbaric society like the Rakata joining the Republic is absurd, not to mention that it messes with continuity stating that the Unknown Regions were untouched by the Republic. --Swali 23:20, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

Rakata Prime or Lehon? Edit

Since Darth Bane: Path of Destruction has given the planet's name as Lehon, should the article be there? Rakata Prime seems like an astronomical designation, and it's not what the planet seems to be known as in POD. Havac 03:31, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

  • At the moment it's two sources for Rakata Prime (NEC and the DH map) versus one source for Lehon, so I say it should stay here. Kuralyov 03:59, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
    • True, but Lehon is the latest name for Rakata Prime. So i think it should be moved as per wiki policy. Jasca Ducato Sith Council (Sith campaign) 18:23, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
      • Since PoD takes place after KotOR, is it possible the planet's name was changed in-universe? Does the book state Lehon is the planet's only name, or anything similar? - Kwenn 18:27, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
        • It states that it was known as the Unknown World, but never mentions Rakata Prime. I'm feeling a Mon Calamari/Dac fight coming on. Lehon is very definitely the name that it is known by as of 1000 BBY, whereas an out-of-universe map and an in-universe chronology give it a different name. Lehon is most likely the name the Rakata gave it, whereas Rakata Prime sounds like a filler name given to it by the government or something. Rakata Prime = first/main planet in the Rakata System. Havac 18:55, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
          • According to the NEC, Rakata Prime was the planet's name during the Infinite Empire. That name is Rakatan in origin. I don't think anyone knows who named it Lehon or when that event took place. Therefore, I think it should stay at Rakata Prime (at least for now).–SentryTalk 20:01, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
            • If that's so, then I have to agree. Havac 22:27, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
              • That may be the case that no-one knows who or when it was named Lehon, but the point is...it was. So it should be moved to Lehon. Jasca Ducato Sith Council (Sith campaign) 08:24, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
                • Uh… why? We usually go with the name that is either best known or that which was given by the planet's original inhabitants. Given our current information, Lehon fails at both points.–SentryTalk 08:30, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Leland Chee has stated that it's real name is Lehon, while Rakata Prime is a nickname. [1] .... 03:33, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

MandaloriansEdit

I remember that some of the enemies of the game were Mandalorians but I don't remember anything more than that. Is anywhere mentioned where they got there from and how? Where they stranded as well? The article doesn't mention anything about this, and if the Unknown World was not so 'unknown' it should be mentioned. MoffRebus 22:38, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Anyone? MoffRebus 09:43, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
The game took place on several worlds. There were no Mandalorians on this planet, though. InSaneWeTrust 01:24, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
  • A Mandalorian squad can be found, though they are in stealth and appear when the PC approaches, to the right of the Temple of the Ancients. --RedemptionRedemptionusersymbol.png(Talk) 01:29, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
    • yes, mandalorians were on the planet. Apparently much like the Duros that were on the planet they crashed there just like the Ebon Hawk. Unlike the Duros though, they were trained to survive despite the coditions.Twistedhands 19:58, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Essential Atlas Edit

I've been looking through my Essential Atlas recently, and I came across something odd. In the index, at the bottom of page 237, it lists Rakata and Rakata Prime separately. Further, the one called Rakata is listed as being in the grid position J-12, which is in the Core, near some insignificant planets like Kitel Phard. The one listed as Rakata Prime is in the correct position. This is probably just an error in the book, but thought I'd mention it. --DarthEinstein 00:22, July 13, 2010 (UTC)
