[edit] Star Wars Clone Wars?
Where's the one in Star Wars: Clone Wars in Chapter 21? I can't find it.--Rune Haako 18:19, 5 November 2006 (UTC) where in TPM?JustinGann 07:51, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- I've deleted both these sources. I couldn't find them in either. --Eyrezer 14:59, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
They are called Lepi Carnivorus and the descriptions says omnivorous. Has anyone thought about that this is a little conflict of meaning here? Uron, 24 May 2007
- They were originally described as carnivorous but the UAA called the omnivorus. I've footnoted this. --Eyrezer 14:59, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Article title
There's been a dispute over whether this article should be at "Lepus Carnivorus" or "Lepus carnivorus". The Marvel comics have all-caps lettering, so it's unclear if the second word should be capitalized. Were this a real-world scientific name, it'd be "L. c.", but there might be sources I'm not aware of other than Marvel which use "L. C." On the other hand, if this were a proper scientific name, the article title would probably be at Lepi anyway, since that seems to be the most commonly used name in-universe. If a couple of sources used the term "Homo sapiens", we likely wouldn't move the Human article. Comments? —Silly Dan (talk) 13:22, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- I've always found it odd that we have the article at "Lepus Carnovorus" when the most common name used in the sources seems to be "Lepi", like you said. Redirects will prevent any confusion, so I'd say the most used name should win. SavageBob 14:35, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'd add that in canon examples of "Latin" names in SW, Earth-style capitalization is found (see Truce At Bakura SB, Wildlife of Star Wars). That being said, I agree it should be moved to Lepi, since we have the article at "Bantha" not at its scientific nameJustinGann 16:32, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have no problem moving it to Lepi either. --Eyrezer 16:33, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Lepus carnivorus vs. Lepus Carnivorus
Graestan believes that the name should be all-caps rather than the Linnaean standard, and says bc that is the canon capitalization. What source confirms this? It can't be Marvel, b/c they are in all-caps anyways.JustinGann 23:05, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
