Note on classEdit

The "Chronicles" section on the Knights of the Old Republic II website calls the Leviathan a "gigantic Interdictor-class Star Cruiser Flagship". -- Silly Dan 22:11, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)

    • Not unprecendented at all. IRL, the Royal Navy had the Leander-class cruisers in the 1930s and the Leander-class frigates in the 1960s. Names get re-used all the time when the previous ships get destroyed or retired. Given that the Star Wars galaxy has recorded history going back over 25,000 years, there's a good chance there's more than just two Interdictor-classes.   • There are other Interdictors as well. Anyway, on topic: Was the Leviathan a unique ship or all Jedi Civil War-era "Star Destroyers" were of the same kind? I know that the article says that all those Sith ships were of the same kind, but they apparently had no interdictor capabilities. When the Star Forge is destroyed, they do not remain there to destroy all the Sith Fleet, but withdraw. - TopAce 18:30, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
    • I think that the Leviathan should have been a unique ship. I mean, seeing multiple Leviathans flying around is almost as silly as seeing an entire fleet of Invisible Hands in Clone Wars. Except that Clone Wars is Clone Wars, so that's excusable, whereas KOTOR is not. - lalala_la

I think we should start the article with a quote such as "It's the Leviethan, Sal Karath's vessel" Carth Onasi. After all, there are quotes about it, and a qoutation does make the article look more porfessional. Oh, and Sikon, don't use article discussion space to critique the way a person signs thier post. Star Forge = Unicron >:)Edit

The fact that the only ship to survive Malachor V and not go with Revan, Ravager, bears a similar but not identical design to Leviathan, indicates that the Sith's ex-Republic ships may have been modified by the Star Forge.

My first thought upon seeing the Ravager was "Hey, maybe that's to the Leviathan what Megatron is to Galvatron..." so... yeah. Cool!

Of course, the Ravager is much larger than the indictor-class ships, but I'll not let logic ruin this moment! :D (Ulicus 00:17, 29 May 2006 (UTC))

Actually, despite what the Ravager article says, I’m a little unsure; isn’t the ‘size difference’ between the Ravager and the interdictor-class vessels more to do with the *perspective* than there being any *actual* difference in size? (Ulicus 20:48, 1 June 2006 (UTC))

  • Yeah, but in Star Wars, "interdict" refers to the ability to drag ships out of hyperspace.
