[edit] Question

This is a question for all of the related articles (A9 Floating Fortress, et al). In this case, it appears that if we followed the convention of other articles, it would be titled "QH-7 Chariot Light Assault Vehicle repulsorlift" or even just "QH-7 Chariot light assautl vehicle". The "Light Assault Vehicle/repulsorlift" appears to be a military designation used by the Imperial Army to categorize the vehicles, rather than the actual name of the craft. Thoughts? --SparqMan 18:14, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Wouldn't that mean we'd drop or do something with "All Terrain" from the AT-?? weapons as well? --Fade 18:19, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • I don't think so, because that's a part of the name of the walker. I'm no suggesting it be dropped entirely, but the name of the craft should come first. --SparqMan 18:59, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
      • Heir to the Empire and the SW Sourcebook simply call it the Chariot Light Assault Vehicle - Kwenn 07:13, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
        • Well, for the Juggernauts, aren't they called HAV/w A# Juggernauts? Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 12:19, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
          • Currently we've got the HAVw acronym spelled out in full, which I don't think is needed. Same here. Call it QH-7 Chariot LAV - Kwenn 08:30, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] In the comics

The Heir To The Empire comics seem to potray an alternate version of the LAV, with it being an open-air vehichle with vanes like a Speeder bike. any thoughts on this?
