Talk:List of C-canon elements in the films

Back to page

"The form of Force Grip as appears in the scene with Darth Tyranus and Obi-Wan (with immobilising and lifting the target), first appeared in the Jedi Knight games." Wasn't force grip first used by Darth Vadar in "A New hope"? Jacen Solo 08:08, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

  • That was Chokeholding MoffRebus 09:36, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
    • Ah, okay, Thanks Jacen Solo 01:22, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
      • But what about Darth Vader's use of force grip in Tie Fighter on Admiral Harkov shortly after his capture, during his interrogation session when he is supposed to reveal the location of his fleet? Alain-James 16:18, 15 December 2006 (China Time)
        • This is subsequently known as 'Force crush' but yes, they are related, probably the JK guys where inspired from that MoffRebus 10:03, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
          • Ah okay. Thanks Rebus :) Alain-James 16:00, 16 December 2006 (China Time)

Would Olana Chion count? See here: http://blogs.starwars.com/thefragrantwookiee/44--The Erl of the Talk talk What I do 14:54, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Boba Fett? Edit

I'm not sure Boba Fett counts here. I was under the impression that he was created for ESB, but was introduced in the holiday special (like how Grievous was created for ROTS but was introduced in Clone Wars).

Question about AOTC... Edit

It's been a while since I've seen it. Is is true that in the fight with Dooku at the end, one of the Jedi catches his Force Lightning on their lightsaber blade? And if so, could we use that as a reference to The Last Command where Luke does the same with C'baoth's lightning? Thanos6 21:35, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Anyone? Some help? Thanos6 11:12, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Sounds like it to me. Throw it in. Cutch 06:14, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

i.e. vs. e.g.Edit

  • As the anon indicated in his edit summary, "i.e. "that is" -> e.g. "for example." "That is" is not appropriate for the usage in the article, which is followed not by further explanation, but by an example. jSarek 04:14, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Whatever. Cutch 06:20, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

"Similar to" Edit

Is it really necessary to point out that an image, event, or line in one of the films bears a resemblance to C-canon material? It's not like it genuinely intersects C-canon with the G-canon material. I mean, I doubt that Anakin's execution of Count Dooku (to use a random example) suddenly made "The Unifying Force" G-canon. Maybe at the very least it should be listed seperately, like with the "It is not known if the following were intended to be EU references all along" stuff.--72.65.91.177 20:54, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

No they do not make them G-canon, however it is nice to know that EU elements do inspire the movie makers.

Itchy? Edit

At what point in the ROTS does Itchy appear? All I can come up with is an illustration from Incredible Cross-Sections that shows him on a Wookiee catamaran. If that's the only official source for it, then it's still just C-canon, and not incorporated into the film. Can anyone elaborate on this? Eggmanland 18:45, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

ScarEdit

in the clone wars tv series, anakin gets the scar on his eye, which is also seen in ROTS. is this worth mentioning? --Strobes13 15:54, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

The fact that the Clone Wars was on air earlier than the movie premiere, is not significant since both were produced in parallel; and normally, they took elements from the movie, not vice versa. . 22:44, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Aurra SingEdit

I didn't see mention of Aurra Sing watching the podrace. Was she created after Episode I was released? AngryScissors 20:58, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
