[edit] what her skin color?

is she green or white cause he skin has brownish green but her palms are white?

  • it has been stated that Luminara had olive green skin, her palms are lighted like any other humanoid, palms are always light than the surface skin - Master Sage

yes if you have ever noticed african americans have roughly the same color skin as caucasians ( on their palms), so her skin elsewhere is probably her real color.

[edit] "Extrasensory Organs?"

The Attack of the Clones Visual Dictionary states that Luminara's headdress conceals "Extrasensory Organs?" (page 61). I've never heard about Mirialans having such organs... and the picture of Barriss Offee on the cover of Battle Surgeons doesn't show any such "organs". So what's this about "Extrasensory Organs"? I mean, apparantly the dictionary is wrong... I've never read anywhere else about Mirialans having such organs, and Barriss, who is a Mirialan, doesn't have such organs (as seen on the cover of Battle Surgeons).. So what's the deal? Is the dictionary wrong, or does Luminara actually have "Extrasensory Organs"?, (even though Barriss doesn't such organs, and even though no other sources suggest that Mirialans have such organs.) I think the dictionary is simply wrong, since it also says that Barriss has "Chalactan tattoos" and as far as I know, Barriss' tattoos are a Mirialan, not Chalactan tradition. So is it as simple as the dictionary being wrong?

~Tico: Ive never heard of that, not sure though. Maybe, she is very talented and powerful so maybe its those organs that made her so powerful. Not sure....

  • no, youv'e got it wrong, Shaak Ti has the organs...you must of read it wrong Jedi Dude

No he is right I've also read that statement.

[edit] Species

I'm suprised no one mentioned this, but despite the evidence to the contrary, The Approaching Storm describes her (and Barris, too) as human. It frequently describes the group of her, Barris, Anakin, and Obi-wan, as "the four humans."

  • That because at the time the novel was written, they were not identified as being members of the Mirialan species (and there is also no physical decription of Barriss beyond "human female", suggesting her character design wasn't finalized yet). They were both identified as Mirialans at a later date. StarNeptuneTalk to me! 21:43, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
    • She was identified as a Mirialan in Cloak of Deception, which came out before TAS. Kuralyov 21:44, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
      • I thought it just said she was from the same (unnamed at that point) planet as Arwen Cohl. It didn't name either of them as Mirialan. StarNeptuneTalk to me! 21:58, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Death Picture

Is it at all possible for someone to upload the death pic from Endgame? This one is much better then the currentone. Purpilia 18:49, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Yeah thank you!Purpilia 15:52, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry Quote

That quote is actually Barriss Offee training with Luminara. Enochf 15:56, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] skin

could we please change the wording of "in The Approaching Storm, Luminara and Barriss are referred to as Humans despite their obvious skin differences". How are the differences obvious. humans have a wide range of skin colours. it should be changed. AdmirableAckbar 17:36, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Olive green is a skin color? Will wonders ever cease...--RedemptionTalk 18:07, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] She was in the movie?

I don't recall ever seeing her in the movie. Are there actually any screenshots of her from the movie? Unsigned comment by 72.87.194.37 (talk • contribs).

  • Which movie? There's 2 listed in the appearances. -- I need a name (Complain here) 12:32, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
    • Yeah in ROTS i'm pretty sure you can catch a glimpse of her on that battle command station thing in one of the scenes at Kashyyyk. Shes small though. --Zadi 15:00, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
      • And everybody saw her in AOTC in Palpatine's office and in the Geonosis arena, both in the start of the battle and in the survivors circle.--Seth danny 15:11, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Clone Wars Episode

Could someone put an image of Luminara against Asajj from Cloak of Darkness? I know there is at least two images of the fight. I would put in on there myself but my "Add Images" Link isn't there and otherwise I don't know how to put it on otherwise. Thanks JediNTT307 23:54, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Clone Wars film

Luminara appears in the scene where Yoda and Palpatine are talking in the Chancellor's office towards the beginning of the movie. She is standing next to Plo Koon. Etan O'Hara 12:59, 14 December 2008

[edit] Jedi Council?

How is it that Luminara Unduli, a Jedi Master throughout the whole of the Clone Wars, never was put on the Jedi Council but someone like Kit Fisto, a Knight during AOTC, was put before her. Don't get me wrong, I love both of them, but it seems like the Jedi who has been Master the longest would be put on the Council first. Is there any explanation for this? Darthkam 17:13, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Maybe she was before the clone wars, She was made a master two decades or something similar before the Phantom Menace. Or maybe she was offered the position but turned it down due to wanting to train an apprentice. Or maybe her insight wasn't needed for any of the councils matters. Who knows? 70.41.227.85 01:27, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

I have to agree with Darthkam. She is clearly a valued person to the Council, because she is generally present in high-level meetings with no one but Council members present. I thought she was a Council member for a long time before I read the AotC book. Therequiembellishere 23:38, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
