Talk:Lumpawaroo

Naming question: After passing his Test of Ascension, Lumpawarrump took the name Lumpawaroo. Which should we use for the title and in-article references? --SparqMan 00:28, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- I would use the most used name or most known name, but his second name would still be included and bolded. -- Riffsyphon1024 00:33, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- Since Leia is at Leia Organa Solo, it stands to reason that he should go at Lumpawaroo (with Lumpawarrump and Lumpy as redirects). -- Silly Dan 01:36, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- My thoughts too. Just wanted to field it. Some people still seem to think that regardless of the SWW's specialization as a Star Wars encyclopedia, it should still retain Wikipedia's "use the most common" practice. --SparqMan 01:55, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Age
Edit
- Leland Chee confirms Lumpy's birth-year as "approximately 1 BBY" - Kwenn 08:21, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- I originally based the year on the fourth draft of the holiday special script, which describes him as "a short, plump, feisty, 10-year-old." Which source should we accept in this case? AdamwankenobiTalk to me! My home. 21:48, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Lumpy's heritage
Edit
The information that states that Kube-McDowell was forced to follow the information from the Holiday Special is inaccurate. LFL sent Kube-McDowell The Wookiee Storybook and was told to keep Chewie's wife, father and child consistent with that.
- Which came from the SW Holiday Special. Consistent with other sources would cover it in any event. -Fnlayson 23:48, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Irregardless, The Wookiee Storybook is a completely original story that does not require having viewed the Holiday Special to comprehend. Lucasfilm did NOT send McDowell a copy of the Holiday Special, nor ask him to track one down. This page indicates that he was asked to follow The Holiday Special. And that is misleading and incorrect.
Rebel Dawn appearance
Edit
As I recall Lumpy was conceived during in the Rebel Dawn novel. I don't see how it could be an appearance for him except being named or something like that. -Fnlayson 04:47, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
