• No The Field Guide lists both Wampas and Tauntaun as Reptomammals,but it also lists the Sando Aqua Monster as feline,and by extension mammalianSochwa 04:00, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Definition of mammal Edit

Is the definition of "mammal" given at the top of the article one that comes directly from a Star Wars source, or is it just a general attempt according to common, real world widom? I ask, because if that's the actual, canonical definition, then thee's no way a Duros is a mammal. If no canonical source defines "mammal", then the conflict between the index to Alien Encounters (which categorizes Duros as mammals) and The Essential Guide to Alien Species (which says that the near-Duros Nemoidians are reptiles) has to be marked as "unresolved".
