New Republic

Source for Manaan joining the New Republic? -- SFH 22:09, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Mmmm....about the Infinite Empire, wouldn't it work better if it said that Manaan was a colony rather than a member of the Infinite Empire? - lalala_la

Infobox wrong on location?
Edit
According to the Dark Horse Galaxy Map, Manaan is in the Inner Rim, in section C5 of the map. The infobox in the article says Manaan is in the Mid Rim. Which is correct? ~ Jaywin
- Well, the Depths of Manaan says it's in the Mid Rim, but several other maps note that Manaan is in the Inner Rim. I will have to check which is more canically correct.--Shaelas(Ahto City)

Population
Edit
Is the planetary population only 1.8 million (and only 80% of those Selkath), or is that the population of Ahto City, circa Kotor? 76.235.167.147 19:41, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
- Manaan: Depths of History says that it is the planetary population, although it does not specify the timeline. The source mostly describes Manaan under the Empire (after battles?). Other examples of Planet Hoppers (eg. this and this) also describe a specific moment in the planetary history but they give numeric information that applies to any era. --Skippy Farlstendoiro 06:29, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Um, can someone clarify this part for me?
Edit
"The Selkath attempted to join the Galactic Republic at this time, but corruption and complex interests barred the aquatic world from entering the interstellar union. With no other options, Ahto City was abandoned by the Selkath some time after the New Sith Wars, and they returned to their underwater cities beneath the surface. Due to Manaan's isolation, the Selkath began to grow primitive, warring as rival factions. During the Great Galactic War, all of the surface cities were destroyed by the Sith Empire."
Ok, it seems to be all over the place as far as the Timeline goes. cause New Sith Wars is 2,000 - 1,000 BBY and the GGW was 3,681 - 3,653 BBY. So why is the GGW section last in the statement, because how it is worded currently, it makes it seem like the NSW came before the GGW. So is there a way to change the structure of that paragraph so that the timeline flows better?Altyrell 19:19, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
Great Galactic War
Edit
Shouldn't the article mention the Devastation of Manaan? I consider the Sith Empire destroying all of the surface structures and forcing the surviving Selkath to retreat deep to their ocean underworld as an important event. --Bron Hañda 22:20, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
- It does mention it, but no link to the article was present. I added one. Dangerdan97 22:28, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
Darth bane killing Selkath Jedi
Edit
I don't emember in path of destruction, Kopecz attacks and killed at least two selkath, but Bane had no record of killing Selkath jedi during the New Sith wars. it said here "A few Selkath Jedi fought against Darth Bane in the New Sith Wars.[6]" Brianb014 05:12, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
The Old Republic
Edit
I have removed 'the old republic' from the appearances section as it has not been announced and also i unlikely due to what is stated in the holonet. (82.21.218.145 22:32, August 11, 2010 (UTC))
Atmosphere
Edit
Should "Type I" be added to the atmosphere in the infobox?--Eledhwen 20:47, June 9, 2011 (UTC)
