Can Mandalorian breathe in outer space?
Edit
Can Mandalorians survive in outer space with just their armor? In the sense that the armor/helmet supplies them with oxygen. So if a Mandalorian gets blasted out of the airlock, he's able to survive as long as he's wearing his helmet? Seeing as Basilisk War Droids are open, Mandalorians either get oxygen from the War Droid, or get it from their own armor. -- Crimson Jax 22:15, 6 June 2007 (UTC +2)
- From what I understand their suits are completely air tight (when vacumed sealed), but they only carry a short air supply (less than an hour). -- "Awar 17:07, 23 August 2007 (UTC)".
- Not necessarly true. Jango Fett doesn't wear a neck seal, so we can assume that his suit isn't airtight, when Boba however does. It's really up to the Mando and what they want to be able to do/survive. Older crusaders and neo-crusaders wore almost completely vac sealed armor because of the use of war droids and more common at the time space combat. -- Novall Talon
- Darth Awar, you are wrong. It clearly states in the article that Mandos can breath in space for two hours at a time, becuase that's how long the oxygen lasts. Kom'rk

Error on Mandalorian Armor wiki
Edit
On the 3 Mandalorian armor constants, there is a pretty big error. Not all Mandalorians wore forged Beskar armor. Infact, Neither Boba or Jango had sets, and part of Bobas was even duraplast. Much fewer Mandalorians wore Beskar armor then people think, because it was extremely expensive and highly rare. Most Mando's didn't have that kind of cash. -- Novall Talon
The article self contradict, it's wrote the it's always made of mandalorian iron in a paragraph, and it's not the case everytime a bit further. The "always made" version at least needs sources. Salene Lusch 07:25, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- Changed it up to make it more in line. Also, if an article needs to be updated, please feel free to tweak it. If it's a major change, it's usually best to pose the question in here before doing it, to see if there is an objection to it or a specific reason why something is or isn't in the article. Have a good one. — Sadriel Fett

variety showcase
Edit
The pages of KOTOR flashpoint showcase the wide variety of mandalorian armor other than the common T-visor a panel might be a good addition.SargeLIVES 05:07, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Perhaps only humans and Taungs have the T visor?Sith-venator
There's a pretty large variety of visor shapes in the Sith War era, mostly variants of a T shape. This article doesn't reflect that, and seems only to take into account the ROTE/Rebellion eras when it comes to this. Even then it isn't even accurate in many areas. -- SarimThiri (Couldn't log on for some reason)
- Many of the Mandalorians in Flashpoint were Crusaders and had a wide varity of armor. The Neo-Crusaders had more stream lined and constant armor. So the T-shape didn't become commonplace and/or widly reconized until the Neo-Crusaders movement started by Mandalore the Ultimate, even though the Sith War saw all Mando' with T-shape visors. In the Great Sith War, most of the Mando's seen were most likely Taungs. Deanscotsmen022 09:25, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
- Actually as we've seen with the new The Old Republic game concepts, the T-visor isn't in place on all Mandalorians but appears on most with a full helmet. I think that whenever there is a variety in designs shown at one time, there is the occasional warrior who doesn't have a T-visor, and of course on species where the T shape would be impractical, such as on Rodians. But where there are few design varieties such as with the Neo-Crusaders (only 2 armour designs there that we know of) and the classical Mandalorian look, the T-visor is always there, so I think that's where the difference lies. It is the most iconic look for them, no question, but when you've got a whole range of different looks there's bound to be a difference between the visor area as well. I don't think the T-visor aspect is a rule for what makes a Mandalorian armour, but it certainly is the most prominent and most recognised. Gratulor - User Page 13:59, January 18, 2010 (UTC)
Boba Fett
Edit
Is it worth mentioning that Fett's armour was custormized? --TVoid 10:40, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Proably, only if we know what kind of custozation was used--Tinyimp 00:56, December 16, 2009 (UTC)
Well for one, it wasn't made of Beskar. FettClone1 20:40, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
not strictly true, boba swapped his durasteel armour for a beskar replacemtn sometime after the yuuzhan vong war—Unsigned comment by 81.141.216.146 (talk • contribs).
- That is true, I will vouch for that, Boba changes it right before the battle with Dalla, Pelleon, and the Mon calamari head state (I forget her name) against Caudus. It even safes his life when training with Jaina and during the battle from blaster fire.DarthRageLeave a message after the beep 01:23, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Death Watch Metal
Edit
- Did the Death Watch in the Clone Wars have a different material in their armor? You know, Viszla seemed to puncture that one guys helmet pretty good with just a normal blaster. VhettSkirata Mando'ade 22:03, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
- We know that Jango and Boba both used durasteel armour, so I guess that is what they are using. But this is not a forum. Gratulor - User Page 22:41, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
i think death watch had durasteel plates because the did not have beskar mines to get beskar

How come the armor that Karr and Vevec wear is differently designed?Mand'alor Fett II 20:34, June 30, 2010 (UTC)
