Contradiction or not?
As can be read in the BtS section, there exist two sets of wildly diverging stats for the Mantaris-class amphibious medium transport. However, I wonder if those two sets really are mutually exclusive. On one hand, we know that the events of Yoda's Challenge occurred very shortly after the Battle of the Great Grass Plains, since there are still battle droids hanging around on Naboo, and the intro crawl says Yoda has just returned to Coruscant—so it's probably a matter of days. On the other hand, the events of The Gungan Frontier happened "in the months following the expulsion of the Trade Federation's occupation force." There seem to be several months between the two games. In light of this, would it be speculative to call the 240-meter Mantaris an early variant of the later 98-meter one? Is this not straightforward, reasonable assumption? (Also note that in Yoda's Challenge, the ship was called " "Mantaris Amphibious Transport." Since it's 240-meter long, it could not qualifiy as "medium-sized.") --Lelal Mekha
