Talk:Memory rub

Should we throw in the instances involving Kyp Durron and Revan? lalala_la
Eh, I think Revan was more of a case of brain damage, but that's just me. On an unrelated note, in The Courtship of Princess Leia, during the infiltration of the prison complex on Dathomir, Luke uses a technique that he claims will make sure a pair of stormtroopers won't remember that he and his friends were there- "for a couple of years, anyways." Related? I know, it's from before Luke had even HEARD of the Fallanasi, so it's unlikely to actually be the mind-rub itself- not to mention the fact that Luke would be unlikely to use as invasive a method himself, but still, the similarities are there, and the technique used in CPL DOES lack a name. Maybe a mention in a Behind the Scenes or Trivia section mentioning that the mind-rub isn't the FIRST time Star Wars has had a memory-altering Force power? 76.232.154.175 03:59, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
does it get mentioned in Sacrifice as well?--81.105.0.174 14:32, November 7, 2009 (UTC)rachrlah
Ghosts of Mortis
Edit
Was it truly a memory rub in "Ghosts of Mortis"? The Father doesn't say, "I have erased that memory." He says, "I have erased that time." as if he actually altered time rather than just erasing a memory of a particular time frame. - JMAS

- Nevermind. I see the episode Guide does state he just wipes Anakin's memory of the vision. - JMAS
