Talk:Mirshaf
Back to page
Mirshaf appears in the list of planets I created in the beginning, but Dorja is listed as from Coruscant instead of from Mirshaf. What goes here? -- Riffsyphon1024 05:37, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- CUSWE lists Dorja as only being "connected to the culture" of Mirshaf. -LtNOWIS 06:51, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
Dispute
Edit
Who says this is even a planet? The ONLY reference to it in The Last Command is as follows:
"Acknowledged," Captain Dorja said, cupping his right fist in his left in an ancient Mirshaf gesture of victory as he, too, vanished from the hologram pod.
How do we know that Mirshaf isn't some sign language? Or the name of a species that used that gesture? A religion who made that part of their ceremonies? this is a link to CUSWE's entry, which I think this was based off of. I think Bob Vitas assumed it was a planet and then so did everyone else. But that is not necessarily canon. I don't own the sourcebooks for the trilogy, so if someone does, can you see if it is mentioned in there. If not, we should change this to reflect the possibility that it is not a planet at all. Wildyoda 05:25, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- If there was any information in the sourcebooks, than CUSWE would most likely list it as a source. Right now I don't see any evidence that Mirshaf is a planet. Although poring over the sourcebooks wouldn't hurt anything. -LtNOWIS 19:39, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
