- Bear in mind that Zahn wrote that well before Episode III was made. It seems like a retcon waiting to happen now, given that there's not the slightest mention of the Clone Wars or the Jedi Purge, which Zahn probably assumed happened before the Empire was declared. But moreover, Parck seems to know all about the story of Darth Vader's encounter with the Nogrhi and bringing them into the service of the Emperor. For that dating to work, Vader would have pretty much had to go right from his "NOOOOOOOO!" moment to taking troops to their homeworld, and then somehow a far-flung admiral found out all about it.
- Actually, the guy commanding the Honoghr mission was that captain (not admiral)'s cousin. So it doesn't require it to be open news. Plus, Evasive Action has the Noghri as Vader's bodyguards in a similar timeframe. Honoghr has been locked as happening almost immediately, and this doesn't conflict with anything. Why does this page say that Thrawn was exiled from the Chiss space two years after he was found by Parck? What's the source for it? Mauser 11:22, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
