Sith Lord?Edit

Do we know whether this guy was definately a Sith Lord? My understanding with the example we have of Darth Talon was that in Krayt's Order they have to complete their training before they get their Darth name. The main reason Morto sticks out is because he seemed to be treated as an apprentice in Inferno, I suppose the same question also arises with Welk as well (as a Master, I suppose it's probably safe to put Lomi Plo on the Sith Lord list, although I guess even that's still conjecture to a degree). Is my reading of this right, or have I totally missed something somewhere in the Legacy comics, or a comment from Jan or John somewhere, about them all being Sith Lords, regardless of whether they've completed their training or joined yesterday? If not, should we be looking at some kind of "Sith acolytes and apprentices of Krayt's Order" category instead? I'm just unsure whether the "Sith Lords of Krayt's Order" category and New Sith Order page are misleading by having them all listed together? My apologies for the can of worms I've probably just opened :P --Xanos 21:15, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Where did the author get the name Morto? I seem to have read an article on Star Wars Fanon (www.swfanon.wikia.com) abut a sith named Darth Morto. I really love yoda 16:17, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Reasons why Nebulax's entire edit is spuriousEdit

  1. Edits to footnotes: linking titles is currently under discussion. Whether to say "p. 327" or "page 327" is not defined anywhere. Entire change is subjective and unnecessary.
  2. Inserted link from "Master" to Sith Master. Not called a "Sith Master" outright, and we don't currently know many details about the role of Masters in One Sith. That's why I deliberately left it out. Lomi Plo is a Sith, and a Master in terms of both power/skills and teaching role, but from the POV of her training of Morto, it's just the teaching "Master" part that's relevant here.
  3. Removed "It is not known at present what Morto's long-term reaction to the bacterium was". What's the problem with this? Statement of fact. At best, could be changed to something like "Available evidence does not indicate what...."
  4. Removed "... a Darth title in the manner of the later new Sith Order." At best, this should be changed to something like "the later custom of the new Sith Order", not removed. While fans may disagree on how fully we should currently articulate the apparent One Sith/new Sith Order connection, the distinction between non-Darth Lomi Plo and Welk in One Sith, and Darth titles later in the new Sith Order IS valid and relevant.
  5. It's "One Sith", not "the One Sith", as in Nebulax's re-edit. As this edit reverses Nebulax's one effectual (but still unneccessary) change to the content of the page, I'm rv'ing to my version.

So there! --McEwok 12:00, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

  1. Putting links in the footnotes is currently the majority. While not yet policy, it is what the majority has voted for. If this balance changes, I have no problem with removing the links. As for abbreviating "page" or not, there should be a discussion for that. As of now, it doesn't matter.
  2. Who trains a Sith? A Sith master. Enough said.
  3. That statement is just like "His/her fate is unknown", and as that has been removed, so should "It is not known at present what Morto's long-term reaction to the bacterium was".
  4. I re-added it, but changed the wording a bit. Should be fine now.
  5. Calling it either "One Sith" or "the One Sith" really doesn't matter. It's having the information that is what really matters.

So there, McEwok. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem.svg 19:30, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
