[edit] Appearances

I never saw any N-1's in ROTJ.. Where were they?

  • During the DVD's Naboo celebration scene at the end. --MarcK [talk] 04:31, 17 Jan 2006 (UTC)

[edit] N-1s in ROTS

Can be seen in this picture,

      • Wow, that took me a while to find. (Bottom right, next to the right-most jetty) YIIMM 21:04, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
        • Is the Action VI in that shot, too? YIIMM 21:06, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
  • Is that a wallpaper or something? My DVD has nowhere near that quality (the N-1s appear as yellow smudges). RMF 23:38, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
    • Also, in addition to the YT-1300, there seems to be a medium transport that looks like an earlier GR-45 or GR-75 medium transport. Admiral J. Nebulax 00:53, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

where are they in return of the jedi? I just saw the pic and Am now using it as wallpaper THANKS!!74.73.60.76 00:51, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

If you're wondering where in the ROTJ scene they are, they're at the right, just as the scene changes to Naboo. As the scene continues you can see either more in formation in the background, or a flock of birds (more likely, since they're often seen in TPM). VT-16 14:18, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 2 Proton Torpedo Launchers?

Are you sure an N-1 Starfighter has 2 proton torpedo launchers? I watched Episode I recently (yesterday), and the N-1 has one launcher in Episode 1, as well as the fact that ICS lists and shows the N-1 as having one launcher. I'm aware that the Databank on Starwars.com lists it as having 2, but the movies are the highest form of canon, but I'm not sure where the Databank and ICS are. Ben of Oz 14:32, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, that should have been, "are we sure." Ben of Oz 14:35, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

  • How do we know that there wasn't another one? It only focused on one anyway. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20:01, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Watch the scene in Episode I where Anakin fires 2 proton torpedoes into the reactor of the Droid Control Ship. It shows most of the lower front of the ship, and there is a single torpedo launcher down the centerline. The ICS for Episode I confirms this. Ben of Oz 22:30, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
      • I just want you to tell me why there's not a possibility for another proton torpedo launcher to be there. They don't have to be side-by-side. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 22:31, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
        • I think I have a solution. From the Databank: "twin fire-linked torpedo launchers". That statement leads me to believe that inside the craft there were two tubes, but only one place for the torpedoes to come out of the craft. That could also explain why two proton torpedoes were fired instead of one. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 22:39, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
          • I partially agree. After looking back at the ICS, you can see that there are 2 seperate clips of torpedoes on either side of the one launch tube. Thus, there would be 2 clips of 5 torpedoes each, but only one launch tube. You can actually see a diagram of the N-1 on the cover of the Star_Wars_Episode_I:_Incredible_Cross-Sections. From the diagram (how every small it is), you can see that there are indeed 2 clips of 5 torpedoes each, but only one launch tube. Do we consider this 2 seperate launchers?

So it's confirmed that the N-1 is armed with proton torpedoes? Jedi Trial says that torpedoes weren't developed until the Clone Wars, but this and KotOR 2 somewhat contradict that Lalala la 02:13, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rogue Squadron

I say we mention that the Rogue Squadron and Rogue Leader references as non-canon. They are just easter eggs, after all - lalala_la

[edit] Twin laser or blaster cannons?

In the Databank it says they have twin blaster cannons, not twin laser cannons, the article indicates that the twin laser cannon thing comes from Star Wars: Complete Cross-Sections, does it really refer specifically to them as being twin laser cannons?Nebulon B freak 18:44, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Yes, ICC says it has "twin laser cannons." - Starfield 01:48, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Autopilot

So the N-1 has an autopilot... and an astromech socket? Huh. That was a pretty cool exchange in Phantom Menace when Anakin was complaining about the "autopilot" to R2-D2 when R2-D2 was the autopilot all along, unbeknownst to Anakin. I thought it was clever. Who ruined it? Sub-fighters with astromechs don't have stand-alone autopilots. Everyone knows that. - Starfield 02:30, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
