"The little creature that perches on Yoda's finger on Rugosa is a baby neebray." -- starwars.com so this is probably the immature form of the nebray manta.76.182.247.74 10:58, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

UPDATE I watched the youtube preview of the Balmorra Run, the Nebray manta is definitely the same species as the critter on Rugosa; they have the same eyesJustinGann 11:24, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

  • But it's just that, a baby neebray. Maybe they grow to be as large as nebray mantas, but that would be an assumption now, and that still doesn't mean they're the same. I would bet they're genetic cousins, though. Maybe neebray make a metamorphosis and take to space, but we don't know that now. 71.217.5.241 04:09, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Pic of Rugosan neebrayEdit

A close-up of the one perched on Yoda's hand would be best, I think. 71.217.5.241 08:55, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

MergeEdit

Looks like they are the same species after all. Official site says that all four variants are called Neebray mantas, this means the Kalida Nebula versions are simply giant Neebray mantas. Mauser 12:18, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Technically, it says they're all based on the neebray manta model, not necessarily that they all then have to be neebray mantas. 63.64.127.64 23:26, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
  • I see no reason to distinguish nebrays and nebray mantas. Are wampas different from wampa ice creatures?JustinGann 19:41, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
  • No, but separate articles can be devoted to the genus, and also to specific species or breeds. 76.22.3.36 04:58, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

In TCW film?Edit

Where are neebrays in the TCW film? Etan O'Hara 15:40, 20 December 2008

  • Good question. Also, could K1 be counted as an appearance? There's definately a creature that looks like a Neebray on Dantooine, flying overhead in one of the areas. Admiral Paul 16:34, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
  • The Episode Guide for Rookies claims it can be seen on Tatooine, although one is yet to be spotted. Mauser 16:45, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
    • Admiral Paul, the creature you're referring to is a Brith. NayayenOld Republic military symbol.svgTalk 13:09, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
