Some of the text, particularly the first line, appears on a few other sites. Is it lifted from the source article in any way? --SparqMan 05:32, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- Not in any way that I can see offhand. What other sites have you seen this text on? JSarek 05:36, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- SparqMan is referring to this site, which is itself a reprint of the article, Who’s Who: Imperial Grand Admirals, from SW:Insider. I used the Insider text to start the article, and rewrote it in my own words where I saw fit. This is how I start some articles with limited information (This article in particular), b/c all the information comes from only one or two sources (In this case only one source)--Eion 05:46, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- Ah. Though it's not a reprint of the article - I have the article, and it's worded quite differently - you should be careful copying from other locations without recasting everything in your own words. A single sentence, or even in some cases a phrase, is sufficient to qualify as plagiarism and bring on the hurt. JSarek 05:57, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- See, I thought I knew enough to call it a direct reprint of the article. Now I'll go rewrite the whole thing. Hmm, I don't have the article, anything I missed. Thanks--Eion 06:10, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- It looks like a fairly faithful paraphrase; I don't think its missing a great deal. If you don't want to reword it yourself, I'll take a crack at it; it wouldn't be the first bio of Declann I'd ever written. ;-) JSarek 06:24, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- I took a stab at it, think I removed any unplesentness. Ah, I found that one as well, didn't use much of it, though the tidbit about him being the only Grand Admiral not to run like a little girl got in there. Thanks again for the head's up.--Eion 06:31, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for clearing that up. --SparqMan 06:35, 5 May 2005 (UTC)Insert non-formatted text here

Coordination
Edit
I wonder if the death of Declann, and not the Emperor, caused the noticeable loss of cohesion at the Battle of Endor (mentioned by Thrawn to Pallaeon). I know it's not mentioned, just something to ponder. Of course, it may have also been the psychological trauma caused by the destruction of Executor and the Death Star. Lord knows if I were some Imperial crewer I'd be a little concerned and bewildered too after witnessing that. --SparqMan 06:45, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- The average Imperial crewman probably wouldn't know either had happened right away, unless they worked on the bridge or caught a glimpse of it from a gunnery station. Most of them were engine crews, going about their jobs on the windowless interior, doing damage control and such. But yeah, when the puppet master dies, the puppets tend to lose their spring. It wasn't until admiral what's his name took command that some control returned, and by then the battle was over.--Eion 06:50, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
