He didn't count on Talon's resourcefulness and his Wraith's weakness in hand-to-hand combat, especially against Clygunn, a champion in unarmed combat.

Ferrier ran for it, boarding his gunship and deploying a Conner Net on the Karrde's ship, trapping it and her occupants.

Mazzic had two fighters standing by as security for the event. Pilots Griv and Amber reportedly shot down the gunship from eyewitness accounts.
