Nos and varactyl
Edit
Just like to point out that because both the Nos and varadactyl are native to Utupau, they must have some ancestors in common. Nitpicking, but fun to point out--Erl 20:49, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- True, but still, what's the point of that line? I don't see any particular similarities between the nos and the varactyl... in fact, they look quite a bit different. --Thetoastman 04:10, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
Spelling -- Noss or Nos?
Edit
This link spells it "Noss." Do the other sources spell it "Nos"? —Silly Dan (talk) 13:29, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- It should be Nos monster. -- Riffsyphon1024 13:30, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- So move it back and add something about the different spellings in BTS, I guess. —Silly Dan (talk) 13:35, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Additionally, the New Essential Guide to Alien Species gives it as Nos monster along with swamp slug because of the close relation. -- Riffsyphon1024 13:35, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- And it is done. :) -- Riffsyphon1024 13:40, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Reptile or Slug?
Edit
How can the Nos be closely related to the Varactyl (a reptavian) and the Dagobah slug (a slug) at the same time.--Gonzalo84 23:00, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Size
Edit
I seem to recall that in the Episode III gameboy game, Nos Monsters are present in one of the levels. I noticed that the one in the background appeared to be larger than a krayt dragon, which would make it more that 8 meters in length. I know the game might have exaggerated a bit, but its one of the only true appearances of the creature. Should this be mentioned somehow? Dark Ridley 22:40, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
