Talk:Ohnaka Gang

I edited some things on this that I saw were wrong and added an additional part of their organization.
The article originally stated that it was made up of Weequay, Jawas and BITH. Unless someone can tell me were these Bith in the episodes are, I'm assuming they mistook a Nikto in the gang for a Bith. You can see it near the beginning of the Weequay "Banquet" scene and the near the beginning of the torture scene.
I also added a part on the droids of the pirates. Two R5s can be scene as the "chain gang" attempt to pole vault. They also have blasters on their head. Is the way I mentioned that acceptable or should it just not be mentioned at all?--Darth Frayd 05:41, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Not mentioned at all, because you don't know they were modified R5 units. No source states what they are. Hence why I removed them. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:14, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
Fair enough. I did jump the gun on that one.--Darth Frayd 05:41, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Okay. I don't know how to create pages but if one is made for the two droids that look like R5s units,( a page should be made as the droid destroyed in Hostage Crisis got a page and was identified as an R5 though it had no source,) would there be a procedure for pointing out weapons on their heads? I realize the word "modify" is likely what drove the crap I put in out, but then what would you put if you did the page? State they appear to have had guns in an awkward position on their heads? I'm trying to learn procedure for the making of articles before I can familiarize myself with how to make them. If this seems a dumb thing to harp on, lay off. This site appears, to me any way, to want to identify any aspect of Star Wars possible. I saw two Astromechs with guns on their heads in an episode I like, possibly utilized by a pirate gang I enjoyed. I want to see them represented the best way they can be. Again, since I can't make the article myself yet,( and with good reason may never be allowed to), I want to stir up some action if I can and get at least a ball rolling.--Darth Frayd 05:55, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- All you have to do to create an article is type the url in and create the page, i.e. typing in [1] and then hitting the "create" button. (Articles can also be created by following a redlink, i.e. a link to an article that doesn't yet exist.) And please calm down; no one's accusing you of "harping on" anything. —CC7567

- Sorry. I'm a technodunce and all of this stuff easily befuddles me.(Just to give another example: this parentheses comment here is to add that this whole comment was erased accidentally, then somehow I pushed "undo" by mistake that got rid of my attempt to retype this comment, and then I tried undo again to see if it would bring back my sentences. Honestly, I don't know how I get by as "well" as I do on the interweb.) Just getting these talk pages down took me a few tries to understand. I'm also paranoid about flaming. I get too angry when I receive it so I try hard to give not give anyone a good reason to say anything rude unnecessarily.--Darth Frayd 07:18, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Hondo Ohnaka's pirate gang / Ohnaka Gang
Edit
First of all, the new name "Ohnaka Gang" sucks, but that's my opinion. My question is: the Official Episode Guide for Season 1, states the gang is named "Ohnaka Gang", true? I don't own it, so. But does it clearly state that the gang is named this way or is it still kind of conjecture? --Jawaman No, I did NOT steal your droid! 15:16, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
- It's clearly stated as "Ohnaka Gang"; I wouldn't have moved it to that exact capitalization if it said otherwise. Page 110, if you ever do need to check. CC7567 (talk) 18:27, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
- Oke, thanks for the info, CC7567. --Jawaman No, I did NOT steal your droid! 20:00, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
Fragmentation
Edit
Can we say that Ohnaka Gang's date of fragmentation was c. 20 BBY because Grievous conquered Florrum and Hondo's base is destroyed?--98.148.127.135 08:10, November 25, 2012 (UTC)
