Gender[]

In the German version of the Bad Batch trailer, Hunter refers to Omega as "kleiner" (young one). Omega also says, "Ihr seid Kloneinheit 99... Ihr braucht nur uns." "Ihr" is a pronoun that can mean "she," but it can also mean "their" or "you (all) (formal)." In this case, Omega is referring to the Bad Batch ("You are Clone Force 99... You all/you (formal) only need us"). Omega's gender is still unclear. If anyone has other sources confirming Omega's gender, please link them. Unsigned comment by MidNighTiger (talk • contribs).

  • I advise you to take a look at the Spanish and Italian trailers and see what they call her there. SilverSunbird (talk) 05:11, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
  • The Disney+ subtitles for the german trailer spell the word you are referring to as "kleine", which is female. That's why those are cited for her gender. Janomoogo (talk) 11:58, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

Jango Fett Clone?[]

did they ever state that she was a Jango Fett Clone? they stated ONLY that she was a clone, just because every other clone was based on Jango does not mean she is. Chasemarc (talk) 19:51, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

  • I agree that this should be removed. VergenceScatter (talk) 19:59, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
    • As do I. We can't be 100% certain that Omega is actually a clone of Jango. Just saying that she's a modified clone, doesn't indicate that she's a Jango clone like the others, and adding it to the article is somewhat speculative. Erebus Chronus (Talk) 20:02, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
  • It's been removed. VergenceScatter (talk) 20:06, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
  • Considering Hunter's immediate reaction to her was "This is weird. She looks familiar," I think it's a reasonable assumption. --Potsk (talk) 06:35, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
  • Since we now know shes a pure unaltered genetic clone of Jango Fett like Boba shouldnt the 'enhanced' be removed from the article?Watcherzero (talk) 22:28, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
    • Explain to me how she is an UNALTERED genetic clone of the MALE Jango Fett, YET Omega is a FEMALE, that would make her altered from Jango, she is an unaltered clone of HER template maybe but not of Jango Chasemarc (talk) 18:55, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
      • I suspect this is the writers not really knowing how genetics works, but if we take that at face value, then Omega would indeed be genetically male. The simplest explanation that fits with this is that she is transgender. Pyromaniaclism (talk) 12:36, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
        • Do you think that Omega being trans is simpler than mutation? I don't know so am hoping that you do. Stepping away from genetics, I'm not sure that transgender is the answer if we consider Disney's history of being quite overt in relaying when a character doesn't fit in a traditional/conservative role. Should we have a page for her bedroom?[]

This might be better suited on the page for the Havoc, but since it's Omega's... Anyway, since the Databank) has a page for her room, should Wookiepedia?

Rhys Blackstar (talk) 02:00, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

  • Others might disagree, but I personally don't think that it's notable enough for a page of its own. VergenceScatter (talk) 02:02, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
  • It's just the rear gunport. Despite what the Databank says, it's not really notable by itself. SilverSunbird (talk) 02:08, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
    • Made the page for it. D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 13:24, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
      • Make that a redirect to the Marauder's page and we have a step in the right direction. SilverSunbird (talk) 23:15, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
      • I don't think a redirect is necessary. We have a page on Snoke's slippers after all, which is even less notable than Omega's room, and that at least has its own page on the Databank). JRT2010 (talk) 23:28, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

Omega's Birthdate is Incorrect.[]

In the Bad Batch, it is stated that Jango requested 2 clones before he agreed to create a clone army for the republic. These 2 Clones were Alpha (aka Boba Fett) and Omega, and we know that the Clone army's creation began 10 years before Attack of The Clones, which was in 22 BBY, meaning Clones started Production in 32 BBY, Boba was created in 32 BBY, before Clones, meaning Omega, was also, born in 32 BBY, she even states that she saw all these Clones in their stages of creation and the show literally says she was one of the first 2 Clones Jango requested.

  • Attack of the Clones establishes that a clone trooper with accelerated aging is ready for combat after a decade. Since the Bad Batch are active in the war by the time of the Battle of Anaxes 19 BBY, they must be at least ten years old by then. In Kamino Lost, Omega says the line "I was alone down here, until you four were created" - referring to Clone Force 99. Since she refers to their creation, this would mean that she is older than ten during Kamino Lost, which takes place c. 19 BBY. Therefore, she cannot have been born later than 29 BBY. Pure Gene[]

How can she be a genetically unaltered clone of Jango Fett if she is female? Wouldn't that entail at least altering the y-chromosome?

DOB per "List It"[]

As others have previously pointed out, I feel we shouldn't take the statement from a kids' Youtube series about Omega being "around the same age" as Jek and Shaeeah too literally. Evidence from Attack of the Clones and The Bad Batch seems to suggest that Omega cannot be that young. The info from the Youtube video regarding her age should definitely be included in the "Behind the Scenes" section, but it seems overly hasty to try to interpolate an exact year from it (even with the "approximate date" tag). If anyone agrees, I wouldn't mind making the changes to the article myself. --Passivecz (talk) 21:38, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

  • I'd support changing it. Unless Clone Force 99 was subject to extra accelrated aging, Omega is older than the rest of the Bad Batch, so she definitely can't be six or seven years old. The List It video is just comparing her to other kids, it's not a hard fact. RattsT (talk) 20:54, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
    • I guess that settles it for now. I'll make the edit. --Passivecz (talk) 21:24, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
