Title
Edit
Not quite sure about the title. I used it as a placeholder when writing articles connected to this one, and there were indeed many civil wars throughout the history of Onderon. - Sikon 17:16, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Republic
Edit
Wasn't Onderon part of the Republic before the Mandalorian Wars? Hence 1) Ulic and co. go to help it, 2) It was where the Mandalorian Wars began (IE, Republic vs. Mandalorians), 3) The Republic didn't involve themselves until the Mandalores attacked Republic space, and 4) the Onderonians blame the 'Public for the troubles they've had (it was said to have been untouched by the Jedi Civil War, so it must be the Mandalore Wars they're blaming them for}. --Fade 13:07, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Good point. The Onderon article says Onderon joined the Republic in 4,002 BBY. - Sikon [Talk] 13:24, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Done something with it. --Fade 13:46, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Ponlar's Riot?
Edit
Now, I personally think a battle box would be best, but I am not pickey as long as it is mentioned, because all we have is "Royalists and Vakluists killing eachother in the streets." Now, forgive me, but I have heard that Ponlar can be talked out of starting the riot, but I have not experienced this for myself, so which do you think is canon: The riot or the peaceful arrest? ELV
Separate
Edit
Close, but I was thinking of making Onderon Separatists as its own page in oppositon to the Royalists, then merge Vakluists into the page. Jedi Wolf 3:40, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Name
Edit
Shouldn't the name of the article be the Onderonian Civil War? After all you don't call it the France Revolution, or the America War for Independence do you? No, you call it the French Revolution and the American War for Independence.--Vaklu 21:31, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think the article should be moved back to its former name. There's precedence in the game for using "Onderon" as an adjective: the Exile asks "Why are you hiding from the Onderon military?" and a Mandalorian makes reference to the "many Onderon fighter craft" destroyed in the space battle. Not to mention the "Onderon Soldier" and "Onderon Diplomat" NPCs. In this case I think the adjectival suffix sounds unnecessary and awkward. Kebla 00:28, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders?
Edit
I'm not really sure it should say that the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders helped to bring the city back under control. I mean, Mandalore did provide the Basilisk for the Exile to get to Onderon, but was there anything else? * Cylka * 00:28, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
