[edit] Star Wars: Clone Wars
In the Clone Wars they messed up becuase in the concil chamber, YODA talks about traning Oppo —Unsigned comment by 151.199.29.194 (talk • contribs).
- hmmmm....... Perhaps yoda was refuring to when he trained oppo as a youngling? like obi-wan in a new hope? 24.63.167.114 21:19, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)p.h
- It's not an error. Yoda trained every Jedi from c. 800 BBY to 19 BBY except for Anakin Skywalker. QuentinGeorge 02:25, 5 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Exactly what I just said P.h 02:31, 5 Jan 2006 (UTC)p.h
[edit] Four arms
Why does he appear with 4 arms? —Unsigned comment by 205.188.116.66 (talk • contribs).
- That's how many he has. QuentinGeorge 22:14, 13 Jan 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Umm Question?
How does he walk or move? he doesnt have an feet he jsut its like a big tail —Unsigned comment by 129.44.179.81 (talk • contribs).
- He holds his upper body upright and the lower body slithers like a snake —Unsigned comment by LightWarden (talk • contribs).
[edit] Lightning?
Before Oppo was assassinated by Sora, he dispatched the last minor assassin. That assassin was blasted by lightning - was that Oppo applying Electronic Judgement / Force lightning, or that lightning comes from other source? Thanks. Darth Kevinmhk 11:45, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- He telekinetically shoved the guy into an electrical thingie, zapping him --LightWarden 00:55, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Possessive 's (again)
You guys must have already been fed up with my possessive 's mania, but this is a kind of thing that confuses me and I think it needs some more discussion. According to the Wikipedia article on apostrophe, if the pronunciation of the proper noun and the possessive 's form are identical, the ...s's ending must be s'. Question: How do you pronounce Rancisis + possessive form? - TopAce 11:59, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lightsaber style
Um, in this article, it mentions that Oppo was a Form IV practitioner, but it goes on to say that Dooku and Windu were both Form IV practitioners. Canonically, the ROTS novelization, Shatterpoint, and several other sources clearly say the Mace Windu is a Vaapad (Form VII) Master and Dooku is a master of Makashi (Form II). Where does it say that they are Ataru practitioners?
Atarumaster88 14:25, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've removed the entire paragraph there, none of its right, its not been confirmed what form Oppo uses, and that info about Dooku and Mace is wrong as you know. Jedi Dude 13:35, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Battle Meditation --> battle meditation
The only source I know to capitalize battle meditation is KotOR. KotOR capitalizes all attribute, skill, feat, and Force power names, hence, Battle Meditation is in full capitals. But that's only KotOR and nothing else, and KotOR has a reason to capitalize all that. As much as you don't capitalize reflex, strength, or security anywhere else, you don't capitalize other skill of Force power names. When capitalized, it's about a feature of a game (OOU), when not, it's about an in-universe ability. - TopAce 11:34, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Four Arms?
I know this should probably be asked in another article but the odds of receiving an answer are better here. In the comics master Rancisis is depicted as having four arms and the same is mentioned about all Thisspiasians in the respective article. However, in the Ultimate Alien Anthology, Thisspiasians are not described as having four limbs. Is there any picture or discription of another Thisspiasian (besides Oppo Rancisis) with all four arms visible? —Unsigned comment by 87.239.234.239 (talk • contribs).
- Sadly to say, probably not. Thisspiasians lower arms are shorter and so, most Thisspiasians have them binded to their sides. Oppo is a good example of not having this done, as we saw when he was fighting the Anzati. Maybe in the future, they will write a novel or do a comic that focuses more on Oppo and his people a bit more. Mak Manto
oppo only uses all four arms when fighting but normally covers them up for it is considered rude to keep all four on show. natho 2k8
[edit] Height
For his height do should we add something that specifies what is measured? I mean, the Databank has him listed as alittle over four foot, which Im guessing is only his waist up. In every appearance he makes he is propped up over the humans present. Purpilia 00:32, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Just wondering
I think we might have a few conflicting canon sources as to when Oppo Rancisis joined the Council. Legacy of the Jedi has him on the Council in 89 BBY. But then The New Essential Guide to Characters says that he didn't get a seat on the Council until after 44 BBY. I suppose we could come up with a rather lame explanation for that by saying that perhaps he was a long-term or limited-term member during Legacy of the Jedi, left at some point in time, and after 44 BBY rejoined as a lifetime member. But then, it says on this page that he was a Council member from 99 BBY until his death (though it's unsourced as of yet), so there goes that idea. I'm a bit confused myself, but I was thinking... Maybe we should add something about the conflicting sources to the Behind the Scenes section? --Crazy Jedi Girl 08:01, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Kenobi vs. Kcaj
Though I am unsure on the source provided by the user who has changed Rancisis' successer, I know that Depa was comatose before Oppo's death. Kcaj is not seen in any source until RotS; the only media providing us with a full view of the Council chamber with all its members present. The Clone Wars cartoon however, provides a full shot depicting Kenobi in Billaba's position as early as the Battle of Hypori. Though some media depicts Kenobi standing while giving reports after this event, we have learned from various sources that one not need be seated while on the council. So although it has not, to my knowledge, been determined, I believe Kcaj was appointed between the loss of Rancisis at Saluecami and RotS. Please correct me if I am wrong with any information I over looked, and I will check the other source provided. Purpilia 03:52, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ah I just checked the novel and I see where you might have thought Kenobi succeded Rancisis. But I think it was only his seat he was talking about, not actually taking over for him. As I see it:
- Koon
- Windu
- Yoda
- Mundi
- Ti- Tiin's old seat- Kenobi's RotS seat
- Kolar- Ti's old seat
- Allie- Piell's old seat- Anakin's RotS seat
- Kenobi- Rancisis's old seat- Kcaj's RotS seat
probably
- Tiin- Adi's old seat- Tiin's RotS seat
- Fisto- Trebor's old seat- Fisto's RotS seat
- empty; unknown position- Koth, then Kolar's old seat- Ti's RotS seat
- empty; unknown position- Billaba, then Kenobi's old seat- Allie's RotS seat
Purpilia 04:16, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- It was me changing it. I cannot be 100% sure, but since Saesee Tiin changed seat with no discernable reason, I was under the impression that when Obi-Wan took Oppo's seat, he also succeeded him. Thank you, Purpilia, for thinking this through and sorry if I came about as rude earlier. ~~grobiano~~
[edit] New Clone Wars
I read somewhere that he was appearing in the new series. I think it was actually on this site, on the Cargo of Doom page. Any news as to this? Sithlordsforever 15:28, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Senior Jedi General?
Pardon me, but if I'm not very much mistaken, Oppo Rancisis were on the Jedi High Council and they were High generals, not Senior generals like normal jedi masters, so my question is: Why does it stands that he is a Senior general?--The Grand Master 22:09, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
