Title change
Edit
Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader makes it quite clear that the Sith of Bane's following were not an order, and that they did not think of themselves that way. Kuralyov 04:25, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- What title are you thinking of? 'Sith (Bane)'? OR 'Bane's Sith'? --Sentry 04:37, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- Sith (Rule of Two) might be more accurate. Or even better, just merging this article into Rule of Two. Kuralyov 06:36, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Sith (Rule of Two) sounds good to me. --Sentry 06:50, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

- In the Episode III novelization, Palpatine described it as the Order of the Dark Lords of the Sith. -- SFH 05:49, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- That's strange given his views on Dark Lord. Although maybe an "Order of Dark Lords" can be seen as different from the previous Sith orders that had masters, apprentices, etc. Kuralyov 03:24, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- Nope nope. EP3 novel mentioned it as Order of the Sith Lords. "You are one with the Order of the Dark Lords of the Sith" was an indirect way to grant Darth Vader the rank of Dark Lord. Darth Kevinmhk 03:51, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

We need some more pics
Edit
The pictures we have are good, but we need more of the master and apprentice thing. One of Palpatine and all his apprentices would be good, maybe one of Revan and Malak. We just need more of that sort is all that I'm really saying. For an article of this length to have so few pics of its subject is just wrong. -Lord vader1414 04:56, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- The order of the Sith Lords is the specific name of the order that was founded by Darth Bane after the fall of the New Sith Empire. Therefore, it cannot have such Sith Lords except those that came after 1,000 BBY. -- SFH 05:36, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, did Revan and Malak not come after? Oops. Well, some other stuff would be nice though. Don't you agree? -Lord vader1414 02:41, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Appearances
Edit
Needs a lot more appearances...Bredd13 19:44, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. -Lord vader1414 02:45, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
We can certainly do individual profiles for each Sith Member. (ie Darth Maul - A Zabrak, who was kidnapped by Sidious at birth and trained in the ways of the Sith) LordPeter
- Appearance expanded, may need you guys to rearrange the order though, I'm not 100% sure the order is right. Darth Kevinmhk 04:19, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- Much better! Good work, Kevinmhk! -Lord vader1414 19:18, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Sith orders...
Edit
Is Lumiya's Sith order, such as it is, considered to be the same as Palpatine's order? Surely that died with him on Onderon? Besides, since this order is built on the Rule of Two, and Lumiya acknowledges the presence of other Sith in the Galaxy, they aren't really the same thing - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 22:18, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Palpatine-era ranks
Edit
The Inquisitors and all those others weren't actually Sith, so why are they up there? Shouldn't they all be taken off? Bold Clone 21:41, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Eras
Edit
If the Order of the Sith Lords ended with Palpatines last clone in the New Republic Era how can we have the New Jedi Order and Legacy Eras be on this page? Apotheoses Jedi 19:58, 2 May 2009 (UTC-6)
darth bane
Edit
darth bane didn't make the order of the sith he destroyed it did you read the book? he believed in the rule of two were there would only be two you put it at the top dude
Master Vader?
Edit
Why is Vader's name listed under Sith Masters. I know he had a secret Sith apprentice but he was still an apprentice himself at the time and remained one until Anakin Skywalker reemerged on the second Death Star. --JMasterWor 20:56, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
Ranks: Sith Apprentice: Notable apprentices
Edit
I think Darth Zannah, as first apprentice of the order, warrants a place with the "Notable apprentices include:" especially since all three currently are Darth Sidious's apprentices, none of which rose to the rank of Sith Master.
I have replaced Darth Tyranus, as he was apprentice for the shortest amount of time and was hardly even referred to by his Sith name, to Darth Zannah for the reasons mentioned above. ░▒▓ Alex | Talk ▓▒░ 16:18, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
Ally to the Republic?
Edit
Guys, why does it say the Order of the Sith Lords is a ally to the Republic? I understand Darth Sidious was the Supreme Chancellor, but that doesn't make the ORSL a friend of the Republic. The Sith wanted to destroy the Republic!
Images
Edit
As someone has earlier pointed out, tis page has three images of Darth Bane, and whilst the founder of the Order of the Sith Lords the place where is third image could be put to better use. His second image says "Darth Bane, founder of the Rule of Two." and the third says "Darth Bane, Sith Master and founder of the Order", I don't think that we need both. As no one objected to the last comment of this type left i'm going to change it. ░▒▓ Alex | Talk ▓▒░ 21:22, March 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Some time back someone (User:Darthbanelives) reverted this change several weeks after it was made and didn't mention why or the fact he was going to. So I have changed it back, since there was no opposition. Alexsau1991 (Talk page)

quiet times/split
Edit
i think the placement of these two area should be reversed as the split happened befroe most of the things mentioned in the quiet times
Ranks
Edit
Based on the information in the Darth Bane trilogy, the Master must be killed to become Dark Lord of the Sith, or as it is referred to sometimes, "Sith Master" I believe it is stated specificly a few times throughout the series. Indeed Bane refers to wrestling the mantle of Dark Lord from him. Darth Zannah is never refered to as the Dark Lord of the Sith, until the death of Darth Bane. 143.138.26.178 07:15, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
- from Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. Page 236
"There is also the reason there can be only one Dark Lord. The Sith must be ruled by a single leader: the very embodiment of the strength and power of the Dark side. If the leader grows weak, another must rise to seize the mantle. The strong rule; the weak are meant to serve. This is the way it must be." This was mentioned on Talk:DLoS, but no true reason was given to dispute it. As Tzachariah Krosz said, its not static, each generation decides its own rules, but it appears that Zannah never claimed to title until her Master's death, when she became a Sith Master, and Dark Lord of the Sith. 143.138.26.178 07:29, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Eh, we do know that at least by Vader's time, it was a conjointly held title. I have no real issue with it in the article here, though if you're going to be specific, you might bring up that Zannah did not hold the title while an apprentice, yet Vader did in the body of the article itself. And change the information in the Dark Lord of the Sith article as well. -Zekk_Skywalk 08:42, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
- I will try to remember to do that, thanks :) 143.138.26.178 10:46, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
Known Members
Edit
I have removed Galen Marek and his two clones as they were not true members, since Vader and Sidious held the only two positions in the order, they mearly worked for them in a similar way to the Dark Acolytess (like Asajj Ventress). I have also removed Tao as he is non-canon. Alexsau1991 (talk page)
