Talk:Ordo

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

Do we really know that this planet is named Ordo? The way Canderous's statement is worded, the appositive "Ordo" could be referring to his homeworld or his clan.

  • Definintly. "The world of my clan - Ordo - was much like this. Dust basins and rock crags. But my world at least has some green around the equator - this place is just sand all over.". --RedemptionTalk 20:47, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
    • That could be read numerous ways... Does the interruption refer to "world" or to "clan"? It's not very definitive, as explained in that first comment. Another source should try to clarify that IMO. As an aside, how many planets also fit that description? Just curious. DAWUSS 17:48, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
      • I agree - it doesn't nessecarily mean that the world is named Ordo. It's like saying "The world of my family - Skywalker - was much like this." means that the world is named Skywalker, while "The world of my family - Tatooine - was much like this." would mean that the family's name is Tatooine. Confusing statement, so shouldn't the article at least have a statement saying that it could actually be non-canon until clearly stated in a source? SarimThiri 13:24, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
        • No matter. They cleared it up in the campaign guide, so it's confirmed that Ordo is the name of his planet and clan. Great stuff. Just letting people know about that. SarimThiri 11:28, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
