Role in the Vong war? Edit

I haven't read all the books in the NJO series, but I'm curious as to what, if any, role this alien species played in the conflict. I would think that there natural abilities combined with their size would have drawn someones attention. Maybe Lando could have mentioned in passing "Oh yeah I know a race of aliens that grow to be the size of stardestroyers, can blow capital ships to pieces with there 'voices' and they can make hyperspace jumps at will. Oh yeah, and they owe me a favor for saving their entire species that one time..."--204.76.128.217 04:33, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

  • • • Oswaft aren't that powerful compared to capships - they can one-hit-kill fighters, but are ineffectual against pre-ANH capital ship shields. Unshielded ship vs 1000 Oswaft is another matter. They're also a large target and fairly sedentary and pacifist. We definitely haven't seen them again since...1983? Yrfeloran 16:36, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
