Pa'lowick tusks
Edit
Why does this article claim that there are two subspecies of Pa'lowick, one with tusks and one without? I realize that this is an attempt to explain how Sy Snootles could appear with tusks in the old version of Return of the Jedi and without in the Special Edition, but Ultimate Alien Anthology explains it differently: "A Pa'lowick has . . . two mouths: one at the end of a long snout, the other located below the base of the snout. Two sharp tusks jut upward from the Pa'lowick's lower mouth, which completely grows over at middle age." Later, it says, "When a Pa'lowick reaches middle age, her tusks fall off and her lower mouth completely grows over." In other words, this is a function of age, not subspecies, at least according to Ultimate Alien Anthology. Does the New Essential Guide to Alien Species say something different? Would you really describe two finger-length upward-pointing tusks on a fat person's neck "handy weapons"? Bjj8383 22:18, December 4, 2010 (UTC)
- If that's what the original source says, than yes. It's a galaxy far, far away, not our galaxy. ~ SavageBob 22:53, December 4, 2010 (UTC)
