OOU Section ExampleEdit

As a power convertor is a technical concept, using a real-world example that nearly literally everyone capable of reading a web-page will understand (the power supply unit on a personal computer) to quickly and efficiently demonstrate the concept is appropriate. And as the MOS of OOU material demands only that OOU material be clearly listed as OOU (which it was), I see no reason the section should not be there. ShadowDragon8685 03:01, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

There are other sections of the article which have out-of-universe content such as the intro. The whole thing needs to be cleaned up to conform with our Manual of Style and Layout Guide. Grunny (Talk) 03:07, March 19, 2010 (UTC)
Also, see our no original research policy which that section you added violated. Grunny (Talk) 03:10, March 19, 2010 (UTC)
Look at how people call DOCSIS cable adapters "modems" when they're not modems at all. They may call a large variety of devices "power converters" when there might be a better technical name.
