Predator-class starfighter?
Edit
This should be at Predator-class starfighter. That's the proper designation we use on the Wookieepedia, despite what may be in Legacy 0 - Kwenn 08:36, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, no. We use whatever a canon source calls it, even if we know it should be at something else. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 11:10, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hello, fighter is short for starfighter. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Are these classified as TIEs though?Tocneppil 19:37, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- They've got the cockpit of TIEs, so why not? Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Tie cockpit vs slats?
Edit
Predator-class fighters with classic TIE-style cockpits were flown by squadron leaders. Other pilots flew fighters with horizontal slats across the front of the central fuselage.
Is there any source for this? I had assumed that the slatted window units where droid piloted slaved to the standard cockpited fighters. I seem to remember that Zsinj used a similar system in the Rogue Squadron novels with his Tie Raptors. It just seems odd that the designers would go through the difficulty and trouble of making a varient that would severly limit the visual fields for nearly 3/4's of the pilots.--204.76.128.217 10:25, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

TIE starfighter variants
Edit
- Why is this ship listed as a non-Imperial variant? To my knowledge every depiction of this craft in the Legacy comics shows it as an Imperial operated vessel. Sulgran 02:15, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- I think "non-Imperial" needs to be re-defined. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Are there any others?

Is this the only new starfighter we have seen in Legacy era so far?Jasonfu 06:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- Legacy 0 has sketches of at least two others.Tocneppil 22:02, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
