In what setting? As an Imperial craft it probably could have ended the rebellion pretty quickly being cheaper and easier to produce then the Death Star as well as more effective in space engagements. But the New Republic is having enough trouble keeping itself together as it is without going all Imperial with super weapons. Obviously, if made it could be effective, which explains why the Rogues had to investigate the possibility that one was being constructed. Personally, I'd imagine that the high cost of such a craft would have made it a difficult choice to send into combat where it would be usable (IE against large fleets of capital ships). --Anon80
