Did this guy even exist?[]
All the sources' links are broken, and I've never seen this droid in ANH. I'm beginning to think he was just made up and given fake sources. --Thesaurus Rex 07:47, October 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, he exists. He originally appeared by name in the The Star Wars Sourcebook, where he is the narrator for a box describing life on board a sandcrawler. Later, the Visual Guides on StarWars.com identified a barely-seen, inactive 3PO unit on the Sandcrawler in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope as this droid. The Visual Guides were among the materials that were lost during the redesign of StarWars.com a few years ago, so they are no longer viewable online, but they are still canon, as is the sourcebook. jSarek 11:41, October 17, 2010 (UTC)
