I was looking on the list of sentient species an the Qae/Jha wernt there... I dont know why?
Separation?[]
Shouldn't both Qom Jha and Qom Qae have their own separate articles? I know there is not much that separates them from one another, but still.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 04:07, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
Technical questions about splitting the article[]
Okay. I'm seriously considering splitting this into two separate articles for Qom Jha and Qom Qae. But because the edit history of a page should be kept for the public record, how should I proceed? Should an admin first delete either of the two redirects that currently point here, so this can be moved and then rewritten? Or should I just start from the beginning with both species articles? (Oh my god, it was over three years ago, when I was first thinking about splitting this…)--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 19:28, March 26, 2014 (UTC)
- I'd suggest just editing the existing redirects into articles, then editing this page down into a disambiguation-type page. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:01, March 26, 2014 (UTC)
- What Dan said. Convert the redirects into articles and make this a disambiguation page. Depending on how notable the two species are together (as opposed to individually), a short, hybrid article/disambiguation page similar to Solo twins might be appropriate.

I think some data should be left to the disambig page as well, because in some sources (Essential Guide to Alien Species for example) both species have been lumped together.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 16:14, March 27, 2014 (UTC)
