R6 vs R3Edit

One could easily assume that R6 is an improvment off R2. But R3 is also an improved version. Which one is better? Or are they both improvments for different reasons?

Continuity Edit

This article says that the R6 series is created after the battle of endor, but Star Wars : THe Clone Wars : Season 1 : Disc 2 " "Lair of Grievous"" has Fistu talking to a R6 droid? Right after a few episodes before they say that the R3 droid was new
