[edit] Aboard the Purge?

If you didn't know, the book Death Troopers was released recently, and along with it, multiple messages released on the web beforehand to hype up the book, from perspectives of those aboard the Purge. I recently discovered two Twitter accounts, seeming to go along with this, follow these links to read them: http://twitter.com/TK329/ http://twitter.com/Bly5052. I'm not exactly sure if this is just readers messing about, or if this was official hype up, but nonetheless. Bly5052's twitter makes mention of Clones, arguing with TK329 about the Jedi, saying it hurt to kill them, and that the Empire wouldn't be there if it wasn't for his brothers. He also makes mention of a certain person, named Sev, and judging by his twitter page, I wouldn't doubt this Sev was a clone, and if you read even further into it, you'll notice this line of text: "Evac team roster: RC-1138, RC-1140, RC-1262, RC-1207, CC-2224, plus a full stormtrooper platoon." Any names in there sound familiar? So this might lead up to what happened to Sev and the rest of Delta Squad, I'm not entirely sure. Thoughts? --Cartholoni and cheese 07:01, October 19, 2009 (UTC)Cartholoni and cheese

[edit] Psycho

Ah sev, the resident phycopath:) He love popping off heads and counting kills. Hes also my favorite charachter! Sucks though how hes killed or captured at the end:(

[edit] Spoiler Warning

This page does not need a spoiler warning. The game is over a year old now. If we put a spoiler tag here then every thing released from Lucasfilm/Arts since the game would also require a spoiler tag. It's unnecessary.--DannyBoy7783 09:20, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

The Krytos Trap has been out for about 15 years now and still has spoiler warnings in Corran Horns section.

  • Can I say just say that we really should put a spoiler in 'cause RC is still in stores AND it would spoil the game. Ruffles 09:45, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
    • No. Unnecessary.--DannyBoy7783 16:42, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
    • I agree. The game has been out for over a year, so everyone, regardless of whether or not they own it, should be aware of what happens in it.TIEPilot051999 16:45, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
      • This user even brought it up on mine and Imperialles's talk pages. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20:11, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
        • As long as it's Star Wars and gives away the ending it should have a spoiler warning! It's not like it'll hurt the people who read it!!! Just think about it before reverting it!

http://uncyclopedia.org/images/1/15/Darth_Cow-Small.PNG --DarthCow--Talk|Email

  • You really don't get it, do you? Look when the game came out—almost a year ago. There is no need for a spoiler warning on the page. If you add it in again, your name will be on the vandalism page. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 11:07, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
    • Said the person who has been banned. :p129.107.81.12 20:07, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

"As long as it's Star Wars and gives away the ending it should have a spoiler warning! It's not like it'll hurt the people who read it!!! Just think about it before reverting it!"

You know, there are folks so young that they've never seen the original trilogy yet. And some of them will probably see it. But I doubt you would want to put a spoiler warning on it since it's now over twenty-five years old, even though you're gonna spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet. As has already been said, after a year a large enough percentage of fans will have already played, and those who haven't probably already know enough about it that by this point spoiler warnings no longer matter.

[edit] Sev = Mort?

Could there be the slight possibility that Sev is in fact the character Mort, from SWG?

Look at it: Mort was one of the Elite Clone Commandos sent behind enemy lines on Kashyyyk (Matches Sev) He was injured in combat, and instead of being taken back to command, his commander gave the order to leave him behind (Matches the orders given by the commander to Delta-38 during Sev's missing in Clone Commando) Although he refers to this as him and his team were TOGETHER after the commander left the planet - which contrasts the happenings on Clone Commando

Sev is a heartless killer, and portrayed rare emotion. Mort, however, argued that Clone Troopers do have emotions, just that people presumed they wouldn't. This could be taken as though Mort (or Sev if i'm correct) developed emotions towards his 'brothers' after they were forced to leave him behind?

Sev's future after the Invasion of Kashyyyk could be that of Mort, the hateful yet friendly drunk, in the Dearic Cantina on Talus. His sob story that he describes, matches Sev's known history, and is definitely understandable to match what COULD have happened to Sev after the Invasion.

As to the major contrast of Mort and his team being left behind to die one by one, and Delta-38's team having to leave Sev behind and extract - my only opinion is maybe Mort is exaggerating a little, or maybe he is in fact telling the truth, and Sev and himself are not linked.

I could be onto something huge, as i havent found any links or rumours like this anywhere. Opinions?

  • That's a very interesting analysis. The only thing I don't get is why Sev, if he turns out to be Mort, changes his name. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 13:10, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
    • Why he'd change it is something I can't answer, but I can answer why, if he did change it, he chose Mort; his team thinks he's dead, and the name is related to death. Cortle Steeze 13:44, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

It deserves mention in the article at least. As to his squad being killed off, Mort, being a drunk, may be mixing this up with one of the missions where they are picked off, like the one on the cruiser. Anyway, wasn't Delta the only squad on Kashyyk?

  • 1) It's already in the article. 2) What source says Delta was the only squad on Kashyyyk? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 13:50, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
    • 1) It's from Star Wars Galaxies, a lot of stuff in Star Wars galaxies semi-contradicts everything else, such as Imperial officers who were known to be in one location at a given time, only to be spotted doing something they wouldn't be doing at that canon time in a place they had no reason to be. 2) It's speculation. 3) There was more than one raid on Kashyyyk by clones. There is at least one other story I know of where clones attacked Kashyyyk with 200 troops and were used only as a distractionary force and only three-ish were rescued from them, other than the three scout troopers who managed to survive by using their speed to avoid the attacking Wookiees. However, there are multiple troopers who were only ASSUMED to be dead, and were not actually seen getting killed by other clones. For all we know, Mort could've been one of those guys. But that story is only one of many other possibilities. For all we know, Sev could still be found between the (first) battle of Kashyyyk and Episode IV. Mort is, most likely, something of an easter egg in Star Wars Galaxies.129.107.81.12 20:03, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Mort may have changed his name in coincidence with being a clone with developed emotions, being left alone in the Republic. He would, as any normal person can imagine, not continue through life being referred to as 'Sev' seeing as how it would evidently be a sore point of his history. This could also reinforce why he is twisting the alternation in his history - referring to his team being killed by his side - possibly to provide himself a false sense of emotional security. On that point, his developed emotions may well be those of misunderstanding and resentment towards the rest of the squad; maybe he is of the opinion that they died in combat because he may find it hard to accept that he was left behind. Possibly, this perspective may help 'Mort' to overcome the sadness involved in being forgotten. Letting himself believe that the squad died may make it easier to deal with his emotions on the subject, also even allowing him to keep their brotherhood close to his heart.

The word Mort is 'death' in Romanian, therefore it would be an obvious authors response to the history of Mort and Sev.

The commander that patches the order of extraction to Delta Squad during the Second Battle of Kashyyyk may well have been Morkov, who is the commander that leaves Mort's squad behind during this time. It would be interesting to see if anybody can confirm a name of the commander featured in Republic Commando as I no longer have the game to look into it - or indeed another possible link between Mort and Sev.

    • Interesting theory. There are some inconsistancies. However they might be due to the fact that Mort is drunk when he tells the story

RC-01\1138 Boss 21:42, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

  • I'm unfamiliar with the specifics of Mort's story, but I think that from what is described, it is more likely that he was a member of Triton Squad, not Delta. 142.68.218.41 00:13, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
    • Possibly, personaly I don't think sev is mort (I doubt the makers of KoToR even know who Sev is), but as it is widly belived It gets in before more likly theorys, such as yours 09:51, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Maybe he lied about his past and made up a story so that he wouldnt have to think about Delta Squad? Enterd April 27, 2009

[edit] Picture

The picture's a little (read: very) dark. Any danger that someone with the game can take a better screenshot? Cortle Steeze 13:45, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Which one? Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 14:51, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
    • The left one. The right isn't a screenshot, and isn't nearly so dark. Cortle Steeze 14:54, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
      • Well, the only reason it's so dark is because he's wearing black armor. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 14:58, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
        • Not white/light-grey with red markings? Cortle Steeze 15:07, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
          • No. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 15:09, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
            • Actually, he is wearing his white-with-red-markings armor, as he does throughout the game. It's just in that still, he's in shadow. We need a brighter image - \\Captain Kwenn// Ahoy! 15:13, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
              • What ever happened to the black Katarn-class commando armor he's supposed to be wearing at that time? Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 15:16, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
                • He never wears anything other than his white/red armor - \\Captain Kwenn// Ahoy! 15:17, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
              • It's Omega Squad that wears the black armour. Cortle Steeze 15:20, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
                • Well, that's my friend's fault for lying to me. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 15:21, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
                  • The reason that the picture is so dark is because when you take sceenshots in the game you paste them onto paint or something and they go really dark fo some reason. Anyways, I've got a pretty good shot of Sev killing a genosian, which is pretty light cause I used light visor mode, Which I would suggest for anybody taking screenshots from that game, so would anybody mind if I upload it and put it in instead of the one with Sev holding his sniper rifle "primed and ready", which is so dark you can hardly see him. Or if anybody does is it ok if I upload it anyway and put it on as an additonal picture, the problem with that is it gives us five images on a tiny page. - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 16:55, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Uhhhh....

This isa passage from this article: "It was later found out that Sev, and the rest of Delta Squad, joined the Rebellion, severing in an elite specialist unit,, posply the one that attacked Endor with Han Solo."

Where exactly did this information come from? Darth mavoc 06:12, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

  • It's fanon, so I reverted it. -LtNOWIS 07:29, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Rescue?

It's been awhile since I played the game but I don't recall Yoda ordering Delta Squad to retrieve Sev. Source for this supposed order? Or is it just fanon (as I suspect)? --Niirfa-sa 19:37, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Fanon, I recently played the game and watched the video at the end, Yoda does not order Delta to rescue Sev. 92.236.84.252 11:27, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
In anycase I've removed it, if anyone thinks it was canon please say. 92.236.84.252 11:34, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
  • I think it to be fanon becuase Boss clearly states after being told they can't go back for Sev: "I don't care if those orders came from Master Yoda himself!" Advisor then says: "As a matter of fact they did soldier, now get your men out of there!" Therefore Yoda indirectly says that Delta Squad can't go back for Sev.

RC-01\1138 Boss 21:49, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

    • Yeh, its been removed now, but thanks for your support RC-1136 08:59, 14 May 2008 (UTC) (92.236.84.252)

It was so unlike yoda to say not to rescue sev becuase in the clone wars episode "ambush" when thire was injured he didnt leave him behined. --62.84.94.1 08:13, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Quotes

This article is jammed with quotes, I think it really just doesn't read well when their are so many quotes, beside this we already have a seprate page for quotes by RC-1207, I would suggest just three quotes, A main one, one at the top of his biography and one at the bottem of it, any opinions? also what quotes should stay in? RC-1136 15:16, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, for one the quote below "Mid Clone Wars" should probably go. It's not exactly relevant to the subject in my opinion. Anybody disagree? R3 T3 02:25, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Hard Contact appearance

I'm pretty sure Sev makes an appearance in Hard Contact. During the Battle of geonosis, Delta Squad are helping Darman's squad and he appears then, although he isn't called by his name, only as the leader of Delta Squad --80.42.76.90 11:42, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Your right that a Sev makes a appearance in hard contact, however this is a different Sev from RC-1207, he is found here Sev (Lambda Squad), RC-1136 Copy 11:49, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Order 66: Novel

I haven't read the Republic Commando: Order 66 novel yet. But did (anyone who read it) the novel say anything about the fate of Sev, or any of the other Delta members? Because we could use it on the article. JediNTT307 22:07, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

  • You know something? I was about to ask the same way and I just bought the book about an hour ago. I'll start looking in a few moments and see what I can find about Sev. DarthWill3 17:52, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Cool, thanks. JediNTT307 23:12, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
    • Sev is lost on Kashyyyk, like in the Rep Commando game, and the rest of Delta go into Imperial service. This backs up the ideas of the people who think he is Mort, but doesn't confirm this --Jinzler 14:26, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] More info

I know sev was in the republic commando novels after Kashyyk, order 66. What happened? There's no info. Please somebody post it. Thanks.

[edit] Kill Counting

I put in the bit about why Sev's always counting his kills, as a little personal vendetta. I don't know how to cite references properly, but it's on page 291 of Order-66. --70.179.98.58 00:15, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
