Canon and fanon...
Edit
I just wanted to further discuss this special topic of Ram Zerimar. The thing is, that Zerimar really is the alter-ego of Ray Ramirez, and thus all info Ramirez releases could be considered "facts", because if Traviss ever plans to write about Zerimar in one of her future stories, she will totally base that on Ramirez's profile on Zerimar. For example, that image I hosted, is indeed unofficial, but then again, that's exactly how Zerimar looks like and how he's described in Bloodlines. I know this is ambiguous content, but in my opinion, it's not fanon. Same goes for the Verpine Sniper Rifle - Ramirez "invented" it, and Karen Traviss only used his template. It is of course not official content, but Karen bases her writing on the description by Ramirez, why I think this content should not be deleted, and only marked as "ambiguously canon". Anyway, I just wanted to get this off my chest, because I think Ray Ramirez/Zerimar is a very special case - I'm not saying that image should be moved back to the infobox, it's alright the way it is now. ~ Tracyn (Talk)

Image
Edit
Why not have it as the main Image as from what i can find it is the only image and also makes the article look better than having the picture down the bottom ? --Dark Lord Xander (Embrace The Dark Side!)

What's the problem with the image, guys?! Why delete it, it portrays the exact version Karen Traviss based her description in Bloodlines on, and since it's a fan in armor, it's not in the infobox, so what's the deal? ~ Tracyn (Talk)

- Hey there, I understand what you're saying, but because it a)had no source, and b) was a fan-created image, it has no place in any main space article. If you wish to re-upload it for your personal use on userpages, please provide the source for it and tag it with the {{user image}} template. Thanks, Greyman(Paratus) 16:12, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oops, didn't see it got deleted. Like it used to say in the description, Ray sent it to me per email, dunno why that doesn't count as source... ~ Tracyn (Talk)

- I agree. It's actually coming "straight from the source." That can count for the source of the picture. I say we re-upload the picture and put it in the Behind the Scenes portion of the article. Everyone who's read about this character knows who this guy is and knows his customized armor was the inspiration for the description of the character in the book. I think it would enhance the article to have it back in here. — Sadriel Fett

- Unless the artist who created that picture is licensed to create official Star Wars pictures, then it is a fanon image, regardless of the history behind it or its connection to Traviss—as such, it does not belong in any main space article. Greyman(Paratus) 03:04, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes it does. It can exist in BtS, in this case. Ram Zerimar is Ray Ramirez's mando character brought into canon; thus, how Ramirez pictures him to exist, while not canon, is how he would logically look, and thus acceptable in BtS. Although instead of the pic that was there, I could just upload one of my pics of the man from C4.-LtNOWIS 03:47, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

- LtNOWIS's explanation is understandable and acceptable. And his offer to provide an actual image, instead of a fan-created image, is perfectly fine with me. Greyman(Paratus) 17:02, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
