[edit] Age discussion

Do you also think that he is too young to be Colton's father, as he appears in ANH? The age would fit only if he was the same person, not his father!!! But then again with space travels aging is not same on planets. MoffRebus 21:57, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • Colton Antilles didn't look that old in ANH, his face was just puffed up due to being strangled at the time and his voice would naturally be different due to the same factor. Raymus here could very well have become a father by ROTS, thus giving Colton several decades to grow into the man we see in ANH. VT-16 13:06, 22 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Anyone know how old Raymus is, or how old Rohan Nichol was during filming? this site says he graduated in 1999, could we guess his age from that? - Kwenn
      • Wow. He looks alot younger than in the film. Did he put on weight or work out prior to production? Because I remember reading about this actor being in ROTS a few years back, but the guy looks much older in the actual film. He seems about late 20s - early 30s, to me. [edit] Son of Bail Antilles?

Source for this?--Valin Kenobi 18:31, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

  • There isn't one. Fanon nonsense - Kwenn 18:34, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
    • Thought so. How about brother of Queen Breha?--Valin Kenobi 18:35, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
      • I believe that's from the RotS VD - Kwenn 21:55, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
  • According to Leland Chee [[1]], the relation between Raymus and Breha is unclear; the VD doesn't specify anything beyond 'they're related.'Eggmanland 04:06, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Bail Antilies was Breah's and Raymus's father. Quinlanfan 19:12, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Death

Where does it say he dies in Episode 4? Is he shown in the Sundered Heart or something? -- Cato Neimoidia 00:46, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Sundered Heart is the ingame unit that Raymus pilots. And I can't say for sure (as I haven't played the game), but I would guess that its destroyed during the Imperial campaign mission over Tatooine.TIEPilot051999 01:30, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
    • No, he doesn't die in that mission. All you have to do in that one is to capture the Tantive IV with a tractor beam. -- Cato Neimoidia 13:07, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
      • No, in the Rebel campaign, Mothma says "Raymus was piloting the tantive"Lt. 1993 16:57, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
      • That's interesting. I can't wait to see the retcon that tries to explain how both he and Colton Antilles managed to be there at the same time. TIEPilot051999 23:09, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
        • The retcon is that Colton doesn't exist; the VIPs have been saying that on the TOS boards for a while now. jSarek 23:23, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Is it a misunderstanding, or a retcon? I believe it's the latter. Both Raymus and Colton had their own fates (Raymus died before Colton) before merged. MoffRebus 16:56, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] From Talk:Colton Antilles

[edit] Names names names

Captain Colton, Captain Colton Antilles, Wedge Antilles, Jon Antilles, Bail Antilles, Bail Organa (who marries Breha Antilles)... sheesh, and to think that George Lucas killed off Anakin Solo instead of Jacen Solo, just so that there wouldn't be 2 Anakins in the saga to confuse people...

Anyway my question... just wanted to verify that this Colton Antilles is indeed the same guy who receives the order from Bail Organa to wipe 3PO's memory at the end of EPIII. --Azizlight 13:54, 31 Jul 2005 (UTC)

  • Actually, no, it's not; that's Raymus Antilles. You may now kill Mr. Lucas.  ;-) jSarek 05:14, 1 Aug 2005 (UTC)
    • I fail to see why a father and son sharing a last name would be equally severe to Lucas' dissatisfaction with two Anakins. ;P Btw. is there still some problem with their articles? Haven't the official word been clear on this point by now? VT-16 13:09, 22 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Wow, that's craaazy... thanks for clearing that up for me :-) whew --Azizlight 05:27, 1 Aug 2005 (UTC)
      • Is it official that this isn't meant to be the same guy as Raymus Antilles in Episode 3? Are there any official sources on it? --Shane613 13:08, 2 Aug 2005 (UTC)
        • Star Wars Chronicles: The Prequels officially confirms them as two different characters. QuentinGeorge 10:45, 18 Nov 2005 (UTC)
          • Or maybe it doesn't. There seems to be some confusion on this matter. See here and here. QuentinGeorge 05:36, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
            • Would there be any objection to me adding the Leland Chee link into the article--maybe the BTS section? Clearly there's still some controversy over this, and I feel the article should reflect that. (Personally, I believe the guy in ANH was Raymus, but that's neither here nor there, I guess....)--Valin Kenobi 02:02, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)
              • For now, Raymus and Colton are separate characters, unless any future material says otherwise. Hopefully Raymus will be added to the Databank soon, so that should confirm things - Kwenn

By the by, here's what Abel Peña recently posted on the TOS forums: "Part of the confusion stems from the fact that ANH's Captain Antilles was referred to as Captain Colton Antilles in Chronicles Books' C-3PO: Tales of the Golden Droid, retconing the old ANH novelization reference. Unfortunately, the appearance was in an obscure source, and the Scholastic book Captive to Evil gave Captain Antilles the first name Raymus instead." So by my count, so far we have one and only one official source saying ANH Dude = Colton Antilles, and at least one source (plus storytelling logic and Leland Chee's posted comments) saying ANH dude = Raymus. Discuss.--Valin Kenobi 07:06, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

  • Probably enough to warrant a merge to Raymus Antilles, as much as I don't like that solution. Grah. :-( jSarek 10:57, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
  • To Valin you listen ... Colton Antilles does not exist (or at least is not the character from the movies). --Sompeetalay 19:34, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Since Raymus is in command of the Sundered Heart during the GCW in Empire at War, I guess that means Colton gets to die after all. >P VT-16 21:09, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

  • So, let's merge the articles? —Silly Dan (talk) 23:30, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
    • As I said, it pains me, but . . . ::::grimaces:::: Merge and redirect. jSarek 23:37, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
      • Merged. —Silly Dan (talk) 03:18, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
        • Actually, its not just fan assumption, the BTS is wrong a bit; Chroncils: the Prequels flat out stated "Colton Antilles" was the guy in ANH, and said he was the son of Raymus in ROTS, and that Raymus named his son after the Cpt Colton (his mentor) in ROTS.JustinGann 09:03, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
          • So it has been claimed, but no one has been able to cite the page that this is on, despite requests to do so. jSarek 09:36, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
            • Looking through the linked review thread on TF.N, it sounds as though Raymus did have a son named Colton, named after the Colton in Ep. III, even if he wasn't the Tantive IV's captain. —Silly Dan (talk) 12:38, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Who played Antilles?

Rohan Nichol played him in ROTS, but the article doesn't mention who played Captain Antilles in ANH. Unsigned comment by Black Rook (talk • contribs).

[edit] Age???

He does not look like he's 45 in ANH. 67.72.98.113 01:11, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Source for cameo recommendation

Wookiepedia says that Aug 2005 Playboy issue states that George Lucas recommended that Dennis Lawson make a cameo as Raymus Antilles in Dennis Lawson article. Unsigned comment by 74.61.16.143 (talk • contribs).

[edit] Weight

Is it just me, or does anyone else have trouble finding his weight in the Visual Guide 5 where it is supposedly mentioned? I looked through the images too. --Tinwe 15:23, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] shaving cut

So...did they add the fake cut on his eyebrow to make the shaving cut look like a Clone wars injury? or was it also a shaving blemish?--Logan Felipe 01:55, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Picture

Okay, I'm sorry, but the picture is awful! Could we get one where he's NOT getting killed? Yoshimon 15:51, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Married?

Not for any specific reason, but was this guy married? I'll check out the family tree next. Scrayer 07:29, October 2, 2009 (UTC)
