Talk:Rebel Dawn
Back to page
Why does the text state "this is the last episode in the Rise of the Empire Era" when the article for that era puts all the books & Stories of two further years into the era? --212.144.107.214 19:25, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Because Rebel Dawn takes place over about two years. The last chapter takes place on the day Han meets up with Luke and Obi-Wan in Mos Eisley. —Silly Dan (talk) 19:59, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Timeline Error?
Edit
In chapter 1, page 15 (ISBN 0-553-57417-5 ), 4th paragraph, Bria Tharen Recalls being separated from Han Solo for 7 years. If "The Paradise Snare" is set in 10BBY then "Rebel Dawn" is set in between 3BBY to 0BBY and is not set between 2BBY to 0BBY. I strongly suspect the source cited for the dates is in error. I am going through the novel right now and I will post any additional supporting evidence with page numbers if I find any. -- Frank V Bonura 13:06, November 30, 2010 (UTC)
Doesn't sound too off to me. In the first chapter of The Hutt Gambit, Han was recently kicked out of military service where he had spent "the last five years"; so he hasn't seen Bria for five years since then.Korsa3 18:16, November 30, 2010 (UTC)
Inconsistencies with Timeline Linkages
Edit
The Before and After lists the Han Solo Adventures Occurring After Rebel Dawn, while the book takes him right up to the opening in a New hope. I suggest developing a second set of links just for this that list concurrance, and then take someone to the Han Solo Adventures books.
- If your referring to the Daley books, Crispin worked them so that they occurred during Rebel Dawn. Korsa3 02:38, May 23, 2011 (UTC)
