"Many of the most well-known galactic events took place during this time period." - if true, that would be a recency effect. --SparqMan 01:28, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

This is missing a lot of stuff. --02:11, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

um, wouldnt dark forces take place before A new hope!?

  • It takes place both before and after ANH, but I agree it should be placed before ANH. I won't change it though, I'll see if anyone agrees first. --beeurd 12:16, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
  • I agree. How about changing Rise of the Empire to 1,000 BBY - 19 BBY, and then the Rebellion Era to 19 BBY - 19 ABY That's what the dates of the Galactic Civil War (AKA the Rebellion) are. Unsigned comment by Bredd13 (talk • contribs).
    • It's not our call. The Lucas Licensing folks made them up. -- Ozzel 00:55, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
      • Well that's stupid. These dates make no sense! Unsigned comment by 151.203.226.99 (talk • contribs).
      • Lucas Licensing claims that the "Rebellion Era" does not take place until the Tantive IV is attacked (beginning of the original film)? So, everything between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, including the formation of the Rebel Alliance, the Rebel efforts to gather information on the Death Star (up until sending that information to Tantive IV, that is), and every single thing that will happen in the new television series is technically part of the "Rise of the Empire" era, even though Revenge of the Sith already establishes the Empire into existence/prominence and even starts off the first steps of the Rebellion itself? We'll see how long this classification lasts as more books appear during this time period, books involving the early Rebellion. -BaronGrackle 20:51, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Any suggestions for new images to liven this page up a little? I propose this one for starters: MosEisley-SWBRS Would it also be possible to add a infobox?--CT-1987 15:11, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

I like the picture, I suppose we could add an info box if we wanted.--Admrial Thrawn 00:32, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
