Military Creation Act
Edit
Weren't a lot of the Rim faction's members also big supporters of the Military Creation Act? -- SFH 00:32, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely sure. Since almost all of this comes from COD, that obviously wouldn't be an issue there. Once I head home for vacation I'll be browsing through COD to get a list of all the senators named as being associated with both factions, and that'd probably be able to settle which faction supported it. - From what I gather, the Loyalist Rim-faction members were staunch Military Act supporters, as those who weren't had already seceeded. The Core Worlders were often sceptical of the Act for reasons including A) They didn't want to give up their own armies and navies b) They felt it went against established Republic traditon. - I think the Core Worlders were the "liberal" party and the Rimmers were the "conservative" party. Just apply those philosophies to their respective parties. DAWUSS 01:38, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Is it possible that the Rim Faction could of formed some time after the Pius Dea crusades. For the simple fact that after the Pius Dea crusades came to a violent end that the tension between the Core Worlds and the Mid Rim might of led to the formation of the Core and Rim faction. —Unsigned comment by Vice Chair Mas Amedda (talk • contribs).
